American fan here! I watch MAX MUAY THAI EVERYDAY without fail! I'm only a fan of those fighters that demonstrate respect. Warren did not do that here....I am a little ashamed of him.
i know, there's a video of a muay guy who is 72kg taking care of a kickboxer who's 107 kg......... this is a video of two muays, so for me there should be a weight equilibrium
He looks bigger because he has larger muscles and very low body fat, where as the Thai hasn't done much muscle building training and has a higher bodyfat. So the Thai probably has a bigger frame actually. Unless Warren really did weigh in heavier.
I'm going to be really generous and assume that Warren was showboating at the end so that he could demonstrate to the judges that he had total ring generalship and didn't need to end the fight via concussing or injuring his opponent. Near the end Klarob had zero defense and no gas in the tank; it wouldn't have been hard to land a devastating KO.
both great fighters, klarob needs to improve cardio lol. at the end he was stumbling around as if he just come out of the pub. all of the head hits as well, ouch.
Coming into the fight I thought Warren was going to lose. But after watching the first round it was clear he'd win. He laid down some pretty nasty hits. Good fight!
Thai fighter looked good in the first round, but then it was obvious that the American's conditioning was way better. Kind of embarrassing if you are from the country of Thai and you are not properly conditioned, especially since the American had to fly into the country and get acclimated to the tropical weather.
Dont estimate Thai people im thai too not everybody is great boxer sometimes lost sometime win no one in America can win Thai all the time and no one that are boxer can always win american people
I was not making comments about the Thai people. Just making my observations of a Muay Thai fight involving one fighter who happen to be Thai. If you have home field advantage you take advantage of it but he did not, because it was apparent that he was not well conditioned for this fight.
I honestly get the impression that Warren isn't an arrogant guy. I trained Muay Thai in Japan and practically all the trainers were from Thailand, and all of the Thai fighters would "showboat" in their typical Thai fashion. But to them, "showboating" wasn't a sign of arrogance at all, it was really an extremely effective form of psychological warfare and a demonstration of a total command of the ring, the opponent, the crowd, and the judges. Warren took a page out of the Muay Thai psychology manual and reversed the psych warfare ringmanship in his favor, and I've literally never seen that done by an American fighter to a pro level Thai fighter before, AND I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO FORCE A PRO LEVEL THAI FIGHTER TO GAS OUT HAHAHAHA, especially that quickly. Even the crowd in Thailand helps with the psych warfare and they yell "oooweeee" every time the guy connects with you. The way to beat a Muay Thai fighter is to be extremely relaxed and use incredibly fast sudden bursts of speed and power to always keep him guessing and worried about your next move, always look and feel relaxed and under complete control, never let them control the tempo, AND NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, NEVER EVER LET THEM USE THEIR PSYCH WARFARE ON YOU OR THEY WILL DEVASTATE AND HUMILIATE YOU. My goal was to make sure I put a worried and confused look on the guy's face, but with the Thai guys I NEVER WENT SO FAR AS TO TOTALLY REVERSE THE PSYCH WARFARE IN MY FAVOR LIKE WARREN DID. It's honestly just not in my personality. And not to overly generalize, but you just can't help but to respect Thai fighters when you encounter them. The skill, tradition, and psych warfare is just too impressive, even when you're able to beat them, even when you're able to dominate them, you still can't help but to respect them and learn from them.
I’ve been in the boxing game for 8 years and now I switched to Muay Thai. It is such a different type of fighting method that my condition for boxing was SOOO MUCH DIFFERENT from Muay Thai. I honestly love it and think I will stick with Muay Thai because it is such a fun fighting method to have in you. The honest truth i wish it was a lot more popular as well.
No matter the victor in this match Thailand should have pride as they're the origin to this martial art. How it spreads to other cultures and who is the champion they're always the core.
I never thought the thai guy would just go randomly hit every direction. Pretty much, he was just in rage and clueless with strategy at all. At the end, he deserve those beating.

Muay thai is ultimate. It's upsetting that it doesn't get the hype and attention as Western boxing and MMA does. It deserves so much better.
It's a very patient way of fighting compared to boxing and MMa
I dont know about attention but it definately has the respect of everyone. But on the other hand it is more of I hit you, you hit me style
