    As organics curbside collection was halted in NYC during COVID-19, many community gardens with compost operations saw the demand for this volunteer service sharply increase. In this panel, three community composters discuss their experiences of maintaining and subsequently scaling up their compost operations at their community gardens during COVID-19. They share challenges, lessons learned and strategies to scale up composting operations.
