Rachel Oates did such a good example of what he COULD have said that would have proven that he was genuinely remorseful. But the fact that he was covering his ass from the beginning and clearly had 0 intention of making sure Tana was okay said it all. If he felt bad, he'd have asked her how she was doing as things were surfacing, acknowledge that what he did was wrong and he was sorry, etc. But he did none of that. F this guy.
Its kind of a thing for men to make commentary channels where they make fun of chauvinism knowing it will give them a loyal female audience (money) despite being just as misogynistic. Imallex is a recent example too 😭
it's basically what my SA'er said to me, too. he was my muay thai coach and didn't want to lose his job. he admitted to me having hooked up with (underage) students before, too. no way folks weren't covering for him
That's what I'm saying. I have 2 rules regarding dating men specifically: no military dudes and no frat dudes. Or just in general no men that spend a lot of time in mostly male circles and are thus not well-adjusted with women.
I’m 21 and I would be disgusted at anyone my age going after a 17 year old. 25 is actually unimaginable because what are you doing 4 years out of university going after a high schooler???
Even if Tana is lying (which I don't believe), he had a confirmed rapist at his wedding. I cant imagine letting somebody like that around my family , let alone my wife 🤮
He's avoiding the topic like the plague which is really telling. Even when the Dr.disrespect drama was happening they couldn't cover it on tmg because it contained the topic of being inappropriate with minors. Literally anything related to that they're avoiding.
As a male sa victim and being a lifelong Cody fan this shit crushes me. I’m so sick of people being revealed as rapists, because that’s what it is. Rape. Cody ko took advantage of an underaged individual and it makes me fucking sick
@@birdie7910 So, based on your incredible logic, if the law were to change and they lowered the age of consent you'd support it? Because your comment seems to hold legality in higher esteem than morality. If it were 14 you'd still shrug and turn a blind eye. Where do you draw the line? In any case, his country of birth is irrelevant for he lives in the US where the crime reportedly occurred.
I’m so sorry, I’m a female sa victim and it just deflates me when I learn a person I viewed as being ‘pro-victim’ refuses to take the necessary steps to truly be ‘pro-victim’. Like, how are you gonna make videos where you talk poorly about abusers, but then be friends with them/be them behind the scenes? You’re condoning and perpetuating abuse, have some integrity and address it and condemn your actions, that’s what being pro-victim actually means. It’s exhausting to witness/experience.
The duke situation is sickening. Even without the Tana story knowing that makes me actively believe Cody is a bad person. How could you be friends with a person like that? You were in a frat and continued being friends with an exposed rapist. The only thing I could think of is “birds of a feather”. Cody is already exposed as a rapist but even if I didn’t know the Tana thing, I would find it hard to believe he’s never committed sex crimes.
the ONLY way a man can associate willingly with a grapist is if some part of him identifies with that behavior himself...it's a show of solidarity, period.
so glad how tana brought up how if cody ko wasn't cody ko and was replaced with a person who was already hated on by the public it would be harder for everyone to sweep it under the rug.
It’s so true too. I mean Cody ko literally comes off as this golden boy. I also think his connections within the commentary space has stopped others from talking about the situation. Just radio silence from people who were talking about Dr Disrespect days ago.
without the hindsight it sounds awkward and like maybe she was hitting on him and he wanted her to stop (an ‘oh you silly kid’ type of thing)… but the fact they actually were about to hook up or did already… it’s like that’s what he liked about her or smthn 😭😭😭
@@tsuki3752 it really doesn't matter how she was in response to him, whether she was hitting on him or not because in reality, he was the adult and he was aware of how young she was and how old he was and yet he still went through with it.

I completely agree. I’ve been commenting on so many commenter RUclipsrs to talk about it. I know comments can only go so far with bigger creators. But you’re so right about people needing to talk about it.
i'm not american, but from what i've heard, it is pretty standard for fraternities to cover up SA (there's a reason why fraternities have the reputation of being "[r-word] clubs")
Yes, it is, and it’s also the standard that frats have “ratio” requirements meaning if a guy wants to get into a frat party, he either has to bring (usually) 5 girls or pay to get in. It’s really gross but also just accepted by most college students because going to frat parties is the easiest way to party and drink when under the age of 21.
especially ivy league universities, i think it's cus a lot of these kids have very rich and powerful parents who help them buy their way out of facing any consequences.
It definitely feels like Cody has been relying on the fact that Tana is seen as a controversial and unlikable figure so he knew people would jump to discredit her and defend him. If he did this to a 17 year old Emma Chamberlain, there's NO WAY this many people would've turned a blind eye and ignored this story for so long.
Thank you for covering this. Im not remotely shocked that a rich frat tech bro is predatory or associating with a ra pists but this needs more coverage
Disgusting to see people saying Tana is an "unreliable accuser" when there is no such thing as a perfect victim. There is video evidence of them together at the time where they are clearly joking about hooking up. Doesn't matter in what state the minimum age of consent is, its CLEAR AS DAY it is extremely morally dubious in the least, and still very illegal.
YES! I have and have always have hated when people try to say that an accusation shouldn’t be taken seriously because of “x”. Regardless of who a victim is, SA allegations should ALWAYS be taken seriously
I don't like Tana, but I do feel extremely sorry for her. Having people say you're lying, in my case it was dozens of people but in her case it's THOUSANDS, is so fucking hard. SO fucking hard. Genuinely nobody that's gone through it will understand, and I don't wish it upon anyone.
Were you a known liar and degenerate like Tana? Character matters in things like this, she is not you. Do you think Tana seduced Cody or the other way around? From what we see cody is not a guy that "picks up" girls. Also Cody is in fact from Canada and even if we don't like it, the age of consent there is 16, so to him it may not have sounded bad at the time. Generally I'd say "believe women", but let's be real here.. there are many ways this could have played out and we don't know
It’s the way the world works so if I said @cheesygoblin touched me when I was 12 and it was an unpleasant experience people are just supposed to take me at my word with zero proof? I get that it sucks and is hard to prove but it’s a process that must be done. If anything we should teach what evidence people can present and gather to prove their accusations. But you should always take what people say with skepticism and not blindly believe people. It’s how the Bible became popular.
Same. While I don't like her/agree w a lot of shit she's done, I still understand her in a lot of ways. I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic and because of that, I wasn't believed for... too long. And it was horrific. So I truly feel for her.
So disappointing to see how his comment section has zero talk of this. I get he’s beloved and has a wife and child now, but it doesn’t make his past behavior acceptable. 25 and 17 is a massive yuck moment🤢
Here’s the thing. If Cody texted her to ask if they were cool, then it’s clear he doesn’t consider what he did at the time to be a serious crime morally. He might understand it’s a legal crime, but not a “oh god, what have I done? kind of moment. Littering, jaywalking, and statutory rape of a minor.
I unfollowed him as soon as I learned. It’s unfortunate because he has the more “likeable,” less abrasive (?) style, so many people are quicker to defend him. Just because she wasn’t always the most agreeable content creator doesn’t mean she wasn’t the victim of a literal actual crime. Most perpetrators ARE more palatable, it’s literally how they get away with things
@@roxassora2706the r*pe at Duke was filmed but as far as I know Cody wasn’t a part of that, but he knew about it. What the "oh why don't they press charges" crowd doesn't get is that evidence is EXTREMELY hard to get, and in most states, your case can be dismissed *even if you have sufficient evidence". Because it's so retraumatizing, some rape crisis hotlines themselves will advise you against pressing charges because they know it's likely nothing will come from it. That's what happened to me. And get this, even if they are found guilty, there is still a VERYYY little chance they will serve a SINGLE day in jail. It's bullshit. You have your life ruined because of the trauma, and the judge refuses to give them a significant sentence because they are "young and have a bright future". The victim's future is rarely considered. Believe victims.
And it costs money! Thats the crazy part people don't get. This guy is very very rich and he can afford to just run people into the ground with legal fees because the worst that would probably happen if they were actually prosecuted wouldn't be a lot. In cases like these without definitive evidence he wouldn't even get jail time. Grape is just so hard to get someone for ESPECIALLY someone who went to Duke..
@@superkid5504 Exactly, there was a recent case here in germany of a female content creator who was sexually harassed by another male content creator and pressed charges. I don't remember the exact details anymore but what I do know is that even though she won the trial, she lost so much money and time in the process. On top of that, she is still getting hate from other people, saying things like that she just did it for fame or something. It is just such a mess and I understand the victims for just trying to get on with their lives.
And that’s assuming you’ve got evidence at all, like you’d need to realise immediately after it happens, and not be so traumatised that you shower a couple of times and the evidence is gone… the thing is after something like this happens you want scrub your skin off. And that’s assuming there is any evidence at all, which there might not be. There are so many moving parts and contradictory feelings. I recently found out that someone I considered a friend a long time ago didn’t believe me, and it hurt like a bitch it was so awful and upsetting, I feel for Tana, it myst be sl much worse
Another part of it too is that court proceedings are public records!! If you press charges, your very personal, traumatizing experience becomes something that anyone can access for whatever reason!! It just compounds the violation a thousand fold.

I think ultimately ppl are complicated and inconsistent. We can applaud her for doing the right thing in this specific situation while also acknowledging that she's made many mistakes she needs to take accountability for.
i know a lot of people do not like gabbie, and i think it makes sense, she did have that grape apologist scandal, but i think its clear that she at least tried to grow and better herself on that front. i want the best for her because i think its obvious she suffers from a lot of mental health issues, and her being so online didnt help in the slightest.
As someone who got into Duke, but chose not to attend despite the prestige, it is SO hard to get in. To get in and then have to leave because of something like this is so gross. Duke has a history of this happening. Many of my friends who attend there have seen this stuff happen all the time, but it's very easy to get away with it. Duke doesn't acknowledge what happens because the majority of the students who attend come from INSANELY wealthy and powerful families. The students who go there come from genuine power and connection. I attend an ivy league and people don't understand the extent of what students and kids get away with.
Thank god you didn't go to that horrible school, 48% of undergraduate women at Duke said they had been sa'd since enrolling in a survey from 2018, look it up it's very disturbing. The national average is 26%, still way too high, but the difference is insane
This is a tough one for me, bc I've watched Cody for so long. But I feel like it helps to look at these situations and be like "how would I feel about this if I didn't like this person?" as opposed to letting any parasocial aspects cloud my judgement
I’ve watched him for years and stopped almost a year ago cause I just lost interest and I NEVER saw this coming I’m so angry. I don’t want this to be “drama” I want him to face legal repercussions for his actions

@peebisboons812 I doubt he'd do it now, though that doesn't mean anything I have no idea who he is as a person just by watching his videos, but I think the big issue is how he covers up all negative information that comes out about him, and still associates publicly with people like Colby
That, and "How would I feel if they did this to someone I love?" I think of the teenage girls and boys in my life and just feel sick at the idea of a GROWN ADULT going after them. They are so young and immature. It should NOT be their responsibility to push away attention from adults - adults should know better than to sniff after children.

2 things can be true at once. Tana can have done less than great things, and also be a victim. Her podcast is 9th in the world, she just finished a tour, she doesn't need clout.
ALSO when has it ever benefited victims/survivors to come forward about this stuff? They always get torn to shreds. No one in their right mind would lie about something like this for "clout."

D'Angelo just made a great video and talked about other RUclipsrs ignoring the situation and how they've definitely heard about it because they're so online, so I'm not crazy. No joke, I recommend getting into books more. Not to say authors are better people than other creators, but there is less of the parasocial element to being a fan of someone's books. You can separate the art from the artist much easier for literature because the author is not the product, whereas with digital content like music and videos the creator themselves is a selling point for their work. Also and maybe because of this, there is less celebrity clout around authors that give them a power trip. They're probably no less likely to abuse their clout to get in bed with fans-people suck. But they are way less likely to have 1 on 1 encounters with underage fans (in person or in chat rooms) that they can use to exploit young people.
The video of Cody and Tana's collab where he literally talks about how he's too old for youtube and refers to her as a teen so many times (which she IS), implies that he obviously realized how inappropriate their age gap and dynamic is yet he choses to ignore that is SO disgusting to me.
Heya! There’s something else to this nobody has added yet! When Cody was 24/25, he dated a high-schooler from Laguna Beach named EB. This was around 2015, when he was making the transition from Vine to RUclips vlogging videos. The vlogs really do have so much information about his past inappropriate habits. He would hang around a LOT of high schoolers, including EB and her friend, RS. There’s links to RUclips videos on Reddit with Cody kissing EB, and at the time, EB had only just turned 18 in May, two months prior to the video. There are also videos where he (Cody) and his friend group obnoxiously flirt with RS. I don’t know if RS and EB were the only two girls, but they were certainly the most prevalent. You can check this for yourself, but this is fact. Please spread this around so we can get more attention on it!! This shows Cody has repetitive inappropriate behaviors concerning minors.

Hey so I was (g)raped less than a year ago and there's this statistic that I learned since then that has been kept quiet for too long. On average, 1 in 16 men are grapists (Lisak 2002 study). Most of them will be multiple offenders. And over 70% of grapes are planned in advance. Whenever we talk about grape, I just want people to be aware of those statistics. When you see the random dude in comment sections trying to convince people coercion and sex under the influence isn't rape, ask yourself if you think 15 other men saw the post and were able to just quietly move on with their lives, and this one person just had to feel a need to defend their position on rape. Men, when you have a group of friends, say on a football team, and you know one or two of them have some outdated beliefs on women but you never really think they'd do anything about it, ask yourself, how many men are on your team? Surely more than 16. How many men are at your church? More than 16? Ask yourself how many men are successful family men - are there more than 16 of them? All these bs excuses people give, that surely all grapists must act like monsters in everyday life and you know your friend isn't a monster around you, that surely coming forward with allegations is wrong when the allegations are against a "stand up family man", it doesn't matter. It's not a fucking rare thing to grape someone. That's the sad reality. And to face it and fight it, we have to combat this idea that rapists are all toxic narcissistic monsters that treat everyone like shit and anyone that doesn't fit that mold simply cannot secretly hurt someone else.
Amen dude! Every single women I know in my life has been assaulted, abused, or stalked but almost every time I challenge a man on who they surround themselves with they deny the fact that there’s a smidgen of a chance one could be an abuser. It horrifies me because I can admit that some women I’ve been friends with have been bad people but they refuse to hold their buddies are accountable
I don't really know about this study and how reliable it is given the fact that it's from 2002, but having this headspace is not going to be healthy for you. Like, there's this report that says people from canada between the ages of 25 and 34 are where car crashes are more likely occur, does this mean that im gonna not get into a car if someone in that age range is driving? Ofc not. Its ridiculous. However, being smart n cautious IS an important factor. You know the usual. Dont be around a single dude if u don't really know them like that, look for signs if they're a creep, so on and so forth. But please its just not healthy to look at people and automatically think of a statistic once you've laid your eyes on them. Its just gonna be mental torture.
The reality is that often times abusers are very charismatic and beloved members of their communities, no one would walk around with a post-it note on their forehead that says “I’m a monster.” These abusers develop a mask to blend in with the rest of society. I hope you find healing, I am wishing you the best! ❤

I used to, no, I love Cody's content, but ive got to stand on what i say and stopp supporting him. Th truth is i remember when the allegations first dropped and I took a break from supporting his channel, but people kept supporting him and i thought all must be okay, so I slowly pushed it to the back of my mind. Im ashamed to say that i was happy to sweep it uder the rug of my mond cuz i wanted to wnjoy his content as it gave me a lot of joy. Tana's a BAMF for the way she's handling this. Used to not be a fan of hers, but she's earned my admiration.
When the allegations came out she said “I was 17 or 18” so I think everyone just went “let’s go with 18, okay nothing wrong here!” But the more recent statements clarify that she was 17. So I don’t really blame you for just going along with everyone else assuming she was of age for peace of mind
The title and trigger warning has me shock. I've been watching Cody ko for such a long time and haven't even heard anything bad he did. Scared af to watch this video
My first ever sexual experience was with a 25 year old who knew I was 16. I met him through my friends and he invited me over to his house saying that it was going to be a house party and other people were invited. Now I am assuming he lied about inviting other people because no one ended up showing up to the "party". He had me smoke 🍃 for the first time and I ended up falling asleep. I woke up to him going down on me. His dad is a JAG officer and has a pretty big law firm where I live, he even has billboards and commercials that air on local TV channels. I never spoke to him again. I didn't tell police about it because there was an incident with a friend of mine who had gotten SA'd, she had gone to the police and they just told her to let them know if he continues to harass her. That feeling of no one believing you sucks, women don't go to the police and report these things because they know that the system will fail them just like all the other women they have failed.
i’m terribly sorry you had such a traumatic experience, especially as a young person. i had a similar experience at 15, like a much older boy intentionally getting me so dangerously intoxicated that i couldn’t say no. from one sa survivor to another, i sincerely hope you are doing well and have a reliable support system around you💗
i use to watch him a couple years ago but stopped once i noticed how weird both of him and Noel were about lesbians (what i id as) and ever since got bad vibes
"Something that isn't discussed when people talk about Tana's past is her upbringing. She was a pretty vulnerable teen. She grew up relatively poor with shitty, abusive, negligent parents. She was a high school dropout. She grew up in Vegas, a city that is horrible for children and teens and full of gross, predatory adults. She regularly made story time videos about the party and clubbing and drug culture she grew up surrounded by as a teen. It really bothers me when people try to shame her for her promiscuous party girl type habits and attention seeking behavior as a teenager and in her early 20s, especially as a way todiscredit her. All pretty normal behavior for that age range, though she partook in it more frequently and publicly than most. And she was raised without solid adults to exhibit normal and good behavior to her and KEEP HER SAFE and teach her how to keep herself safe. I don't bring this up to excuse any of her actually harmfulactions. I just think it's ridiculous when people hyperfocus on the exact shit that is used to discredit women, especially high school and college aged women, every damn day, while refusing the see how their thought patterns harm all victims of shit like this. Also without acknowledging how some people's backgrounds make them even moreevery damn day, while refusing the see how their thought patterns harm all victims of shit like this. Also without acknowledging how some people's backgrounds make them even more vulnerable to being victims of this shit." From a comment on Hasan video
finally someone who gets it. majority of tana's time on youtube, she has been sexualised. not to mention, people were using her to dog pile on shane dawson, but now that its cody, suddenly shes not allowed to be a victim anymore. her trauma is only valuable when it fits the narrative.
I had s with a 25 y/o when I was 15 and thought I was grown up as a result. I'm close to 25 now and I will never understand how someone could do that to a child. It makes me sick that so many men hurt girls in ways these girls don't even understand yet and get away with it to go on and have the picture perfect life.
what’s harrowing is all of us know at least 1 girl who has had to go through this stuff, either that or we are that girl. it’s so common, so normal, so acceptable for men to be inhumane
The entire thing that happened at Duke sounds terrifying. "The video showed that she didn't explicitly object" like yeah no shit, she was drugged, why are we skimming over that????
I’m so glad more people are talking about this. The second I heard about it, I unsubscribed from all of his platforms. It’s absolutely disgusting and he still hasn’t addressed anything. Thank you for covering this!!
The number one thing that bothers me with how SA cases are handled is there is no understanding of how this kind of trauma affects the brain and memory. A trauma like SA literally damages the brain and nervous system and the brain may block out parts of the experience in order to protect the victim. So a victim may report a certain amount of information to law enforcement at first but then may remember more or have a more full awareness of what happened later on. To law enforcement this would look suspicious or like the evidence doesn’t add up, but this is literally how human psychology works. There needs to be a complete overhaul of how these cases are handled, but unfortunately I don’t see that kind of reform coming any time soon.
A great example of the concept of the "perfect victim", and how you or your story will be picked apart and if there is any percieved "wrong" or "mistake" by the victim the entire story is not believed. Very gross how common it is
So true, I’ve also been thinking about the ‘not all men’ response that a lot of guys give and how it misses the point of what this situation highlights.
it truly pisses me off because do they not realize how weird attempting to justify assault is ?? just disgusting. no one deserves that regardless of how bad of a person they are
My daughters used to watch Cody and Noel and I used to say to them “I know they’re “entertaining “ but don’t listen to these guys. They’re nasty frat boys” Of course they thought I was over reacting. I wasn’t
A legal case is not often (or ever) true justice! What matters is that victims are protected and we prevent future things like this happening again (and it starts with changing the social stigma). I definitely feel people who want to cover up stuff like this shouldn’t be platformed!!
People who say "well 18 is. legal adult!" It makes me think about how if an age like. 13,14,15,16,17 was considered a legal adult, they would be saying the same thing. And 18 is still a teenager. Like imagine being 25 hooking up with someone even if they were 18, like, your frontal lobe is fully developed, you're old enough to be out of college, and this person is a senior in hs or just graduated, and is a TEEN! 😭
another important detail is that there is a clip of gabbie hanna on a podcast saying she pulled a guy aside at a party telling him the girl he was making out w is 17 and how he hooked up w her (which matches w what tana said) !!! the clip is on d’angelo wallace’s channel !!
the duke uni case is crazy. it’s f^ked up having your worst moment recorded & people DONT believe you? regardless if people don’t trust tana’s story, cody’s friend is a confirmed grapist & he chills with him :/
I'm 25 now and I can't even imagine hooking up with a 17-year-old. The maturity gap is mind-blowing. This sucks, man. Cody looks and is so much like my older brother who moved away 2 years ago and I always watch him when I miss my brother. I tried watching his newest video an hour ago and it just made me sad. I'm sad for everyone involved. I hope he says something.
It's not that the RUclips rs are scummy, it's that people who are 30-40 have lived a life full of actual mistakes and lessons learned and usually that involved fucking someone over, but to straight up r word someone gets pushed under the rug by men because they do it so often
People got pissed off at Ned Fulmer (try guys) for cheating, which I agree with. Cheating = bad BUT Being a sexual predator is something you'd think would spead like wildfire too
Based on how she described her upbringing and relationship with her parents, its very clear she didn't have a guiding figure in her life and she absolutely was taken advantage by people around her as she was rising to her fame. I believe what she says.
I haven’t seen many people mention this, but the ages are 17 and 25. And those can be the ages of a high school senior and their teacher. I had a student teacher who was 22 when I was 17. So it makes me think, how would people feel about it then; if Tana was a student and Cody was her teacher. Would the conversation be the same? Would people still say “oh it was Tana what did she say/do/wear?”. To me I think it’s very telling how many people claim that because Tana was a “party girl” it wasn’t that bad. But to me it can feel worse in this case. Why is a 25 year old hanging around younger “party girls”. I know many kids start their partying era around 17/18 especially in Canada. But idk it feels very gross to me to have a grown adult encourage a teenager to begin their party era of life at such a vulnerable age. Anyways just my 2 cents on this.
I recently search his cannel and noticed he is doing GREAT despite the allegations. I commented about the allegations, immediately got a bunch of likes but soon after that my comment got deleted.

F this guy.
Cody really is the frat bros he makes fun of
Its kind of a thing for men to make commentary channels where they make fun of chauvinism knowing it will give them a loyal female audience (money) despite being just as misogynistic. Imallex is a recent example too 😭
Why is the "are we good" text the most vaguely threatening frat boy move I've ever seen?
it's basically what my SA'er said to me, too. he was my muay thai coach and didn't want to lose his job. he admitted to me having hooked up with (underage) students before, too. no way folks weren't covering for him
It's also him admitting to it. If he didn't do anything he would've said something like "why did you lie?"
its so is. its like "hey so, can you not be a bitch and talk about me rping you? you will ruin my life". its disgusting
That's what I'm saying. I have 2 rules regarding dating men specifically: no military dudes and no frat dudes. Or just in general no men that spend a lot of time in mostly male circles and are thus not well-adjusted with women.
At 25 you will be shocked that anyone your age would want to hook up with a 17 year old. The difference in maturity is so obvious.

And not only that, but I'd call him out.
Yes yes yes yes and yes... Sickening

so glad how tana brought up how if cody ko wasn't cody ko and was replaced with a person who was already hated on by the public it would be harder for everyone to sweep it under the rug.
It’s so true too. I mean Cody ko literally comes off as this golden boy. I also think his connections within the commentary space has stopped others from talking about the situation. Just radio silence from people who were talking about Dr Disrespect days ago.

i'm not american, but from what i've heard, it is pretty standard for fraternities to cover up SA (there's a reason why fraternities have the reputation of being "[r-word] clubs")
Yeah, in some cases they will revoke your privilege to do any future things with the fraternities including alumni activities
You are correct, sadly. Sorority girls have an insanely high chance of being SAed too.
Fraternities are glorified gangs. They often times smuggle drugs amongst other things. Decent people don’t join them.

To anyone wondering why this is the first time you’re hearing of this, it’s because of the platform you’re watching this video on right now. There are multiple creators, for example Rachel Oates, posting about this situation. But this platform is demonetizing and suppressing the videos if it has his name, he’s being protected. I’ve been liking and commenting on each one I see to try and get it out there.
I was shocked to find about it and went searching online to find more. Found a few posts since 6 months ago about this. It’s definitely being moderated/suppressed. Bigger commentary channels aren’t covering it.

He's avoiding the topic like the plague which is really telling. Even when the Dr.disrespect drama was happening they couldn't cover it on tmg because it contained the topic of being inappropriate with minors. Literally anything related to that they're avoiding.

i watch him every time a new video comes up but was starting to burn out on the content. which isn't relevant here. i still thought he seemed like a cool person and adored kelsey. it's a shame that he's not doing the right thing; his livelihood for his family is about to be f*cked and it's his own fault. shame kelsey doesn't seem to be taking it seriously either. don't they know what that says to their fans who are women and/or victims. gross.

I've only ever seen this mentioned in one other video Asher Extra where Asher goes into the codyko subreddit
Please censor the victims name. They might not consent to having their name spread around.

Jesus this is depressing…

13:25 not enough people talking about “possibly one of his groomsmen, which is a fitting title for these lads it seems” you cleared them with that omg
It's insane having video proof isn't enough
I'm 25 now and I can't even imagine hooking up with a 17-year-old. The maturity gap is mind-blowing. This sucks, man. Cody looks and is so much like my older brother who moved away 2 years ago and I always watch him when I miss my brother. I tried watching his newest video an hour ago and it just made me sad. I'm sad for everyone involved. I hope he says something.
Of course he has controversy, why is every veteran RUclipsr so scumy☹️
It's not that the RUclips rs are scummy, it's that people who are 30-40 have lived a life full of actual mistakes and lessons learned and usually that involved fucking someone over, but to straight up r word someone gets pushed under the rug by men because they do it so often
Parasocial relationships.
hank green and vsauce the GOATs of not having controversy atm
People got pissed off at Ned Fulmer (try guys) for cheating, which I agree with. Cheating = bad
BUT
Being a sexual predator is something you'd think would spead like wildfire too
Based on how she described her upbringing and relationship with her parents, its very clear she didn't have a guiding figure in her life and she absolutely was taken advantage by people around her as she was rising to her fame.
I commented about the allegations, immediately got a bunch of likes but soon after that my comment got deleted.
this would be how I find out Cody Ko is Canadian and with that particular brand of douchebaggery I’m really not at all surprised. Let me guess, Alberta? He’s giving Calgary
jfc post google, I fucking knew it. I promise I didn’t actually know, it’s just written all over his face
@@tracychallice1099Damn. Not often I hear my hometown roasted in the comments. You are right though about the vibes.
@@HyperlophusI’m so sorry you have to live there
but hey no rats right? you got that going for you
Anyone that joins a frat house is insane
Thanks so much for making this video, it honestly hurts how much this topic is suppressed.
You and D'Angelo, Cody Ko can't tootsie slide out of this one
once d'angelo makes a video on someone theyre exiled
@@user-js2cg7xs6c D'Angelo definitely got the ball rolling. Now everyone is talking about it from Moist Critkal to Philip DeFranco. Cody's going to have to address it now.
