Great video! I'm looking to get this exact mill. Hoping to get it very soon and start helping people out!! Floating block is a great idea, might have to copy it lol. Take care.

Thank you for watching and your comment. Good luck with your mill and we hope you like it as much as we do ours! Definitely copy the floating bunk and anything else we use if it helps you out, that’s why we do the videos and enjoy sharing with the community. Others have definitely helped us out with ideas too so it’s all about community. Have a great day and be safe!

When you are into larger logs...what I like to do is put down a couple 2x4 perpendicular to the mill just wide enough so your tires miss them. That way when I roll it there is no chance of getting gravel imbedded in my flat surface cut. Lovely Cherry.

Seems like slow going eh ? 9 or 14 hp ?

Thanks for watching and your comment. It’s the 14, yeah it’s not fast but it makes really good quality boards at that speed. I have seen some people doing pine that seems to be much faster but I only have hardwoods. The hickory is the slowest milling I’ve done. Have a great day and be safe!

My HM126 is with the 14hp engine. Never have to worry about the power.
