Funny that cockatiels used to be called parakeets, but now they know they are really cockatoos, and the name nymph cockatoo is more and more commonly used (here they used to be called «nymph parakeets», making it easier to use the more correct name).

lol its illegal for any parrot to fly in and out of australia. its a good law because it means we are not actively contributing to wild caught trade :)
I agree with that law. Too many birds in rescues already. I was being a little fecetious. I am looking forward to visiting Australia and seeing all of the beautiful breeds of parrots you have there. can u please give me some advice. There really isn’t much information online about moustached parakeets. Correct me if I am wrong; all babies are born with orange beaks, later they all turn black, around a year males beaks turn back to orange whilst females stay black. Now, what age does the beak go from orange to black? X
liz c all parrots need a bare minimum of 4 hrs one on one per day if a companion. If you go to www.adventuresofroku.com/Educational.php you will find a documentary worth watching and written info :)
Adventures of Roku - I watched majority of ur Video but I find Roku n Pabu dancing. I want to ask 1 more thing? I want to know whether Korra like to interact with other fellows other than U & Roku
Korra will happily take treats off people she knows only, she will step up on people she knows very very well. Anyone else she will keep a distance, if people try to touch her she will fly off into a tree and wait until they leave, or she will attack them. haha
I think there was two females and one male moustache and male and female plum head. juveniles have the same colouring with males getting mature colours around 18-24months.
