    Thank you for your service !!! My son will be there also, with his school…he’s 18 and he will love this experience….I’m sure he will see you there, you won’t see him, but he will see you when they honour you and others…..you should have been recognized when you came home, but I’m glad you are now

    Thank you for your service, sir. Congress, as usual, has their head up their asses. You guys are definitely just as much veterans as the guys in the Navy, Air Force, Army, or Marines. If anything, you guys were more at risk. You guys were doing transatlantic crossings BEFORE we declared war....facing the very real threat of German U-boats during their "happy time." I hope to see you in Normandy, sir. I will be there too.
