I bought that same unit not long ago, Tim. Seems to work well. Had to keep the fan speed on the low side to keep from blowing those ridiculously tiny parts off of the board. I've yet to develop any skill at it. Using solder paste instead should make it easier; placing that paste is a bit tricky! Toothpicks and patience, perhaps.
Yes, Joe. It ain't easy! I removed and replaced one capacitor about the size of a sugar grain. That was OK, but the one next to it blew away never to be seen again!. I guess I will maybe try getting some paste. But it's early days yet, and I think I may be able to develop the skills needed.
