Emi M I feel like Glimmer paying them made sense cuz she’s a queen and likely had lots of expensive stuff to sell or actual money, but not sure about the horde.
@@emim2464 Other than Adora and Bow everyone on the rebel side is ruler of their own kingdom. Bow is probably paid by Bright Moon or gets money from his Dads. I'm not sure Adora has ever been shown doing anything that needs money. Everything she needs is probably supplied by Brightmoon.
On the Horde side, force captains almost certainly have budgets for their operations and Catra is a general in everything but title, responsible for all the day to day operations of the Horde including finances. Paying a mercenary to infiltrate the enemy is definitely a legitimate use of Horde resources.

Thing is, DT did it in such a way that it was almost “therapeutic”. Basically making her understand that her problems aren’t everyone else’s fault.
SW can be blamed but let’s move on from that psycho. Adora gave Catra unlimited chances to switch sides with little to no grudge at all, Adora did everything aside from literally kidnapping Catra and making her join the rebellion (which she kinda does do later btw). Next Scorpia, she gave Catra everything and more, taking all her abuse and giving back love and yet Catra took that for granted. Lastly a hot take, Hordak. Hordak did what he said he would do, really didn’t lie or decieve Catra at all. Hordak was a tyrant and her boss, she shouldn’t have expected anything from him anyway.
I mean, she needed The reality check tho.

@PinkChaos That's why I love that scene. Double Trouble didn't have anything to gain by telling Catra to clean up her act. I have a feeling that although Double Trouble the actor was revelling in Catra's suffering, Double Trouble the person was genuinely trying to help her. The last thing they said to her was "And scene" so basically the entire interaction was just another one of their performances, but I think they break character when they say "It's for your own good, darling" to tell Catra that they're trying to help.
