well thats not entirely true. Inbreeding causes over time defects in the dna, which shows after a few generations. One of those defects in animals caused by inbreeding is dwarfism. And in the past ( maybe even nowadays, but I'm not in the miniature breeding world ) there has been ALOT of inbreeding with these horses, because there's a maximum height to be able to be considered a miniature. Once such a defect is in the breed, it takes along time to breed it out again. And thats when breeders are even willing to breed it out, which is not always the case, because alot of people find these animals cute. Not realising these animals will develop serious healthproblems as they get older and their organs grow bigger.
If we're gonna talk about inbreeding, WHAT ABOUT DOGS?? Half of these breeds can't breathe correctly, causing their hearts to swell. Some dogs are so big they're GUARANTEED to need hip surgery, and their lifespan is cut IN HALF. Some have brains that outgrow their skulls, so one day they randomly kill their beloved owners because their brains are so damaged. I was a vet tech for over a decade, but I couldn't take it anymore and got out. "Aww, they're so cute!" Screw off, they're being TORTURED.

One of the leading genetic theories is that humans had a genetic bottleneck of about 2000 breeding pairs that all 8 billion of us stem from. Only one of those pairs is considered the root of all blonde haired / blue-eyed people, so yeah, it happens
