At its core, Fortnite is a battle royale game. Players drop onto a large map-either solo or in teams-alongside 99 other players.
The objective? Be the last player (or team) standing. It’s a mad dash to collect weapons, items, and resources while working your way toward the center of the map.
Unlike traditional multiplayer games, Fortnite features a single, ever-evolving map for each season.
Building Mechanics:
Here’s where Fortnite stands out: Your character can build structures on the fly. As you play, you can construct forts, set traps, and create cover.
Building is essential for survival. Mastering both shooting and building is key to success.
Three Game Modes:

The Island, Zombies, and Storms:
The game’s setting involves survivors of a storm that wiped out 98% of Earth’s population. These survivors are also plagued by zombies.
The island is vast and open-world, providing a sandbox environment for exploration and combat.
Cultural Crossovers:
Fortnite collaborates with various franchises, including Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and more. These crossovers introduce iconic characters, skins, and events into the game.
