I love how the first thing Tony does in his mansion after the DEA was there is to get on the very easily tapped landline phone and discuss future criminal activity to happen immediately.
At one point in the game Tony mentions that the russians that made his cellphone are probably listening to all of his conversations but he just didn't give a fuck, lol
As a Cuban in Florida, I can atest to the fact that we have monolithic statues honoring south Florida's patron deity Tony Montana. They are constructed out of a unique mixture of Gold, cocaine, arroz con pollo and various Cuban pastires.
Don’t forget the random shotgun pellets in the back ;)
Indeed. But that is only for the reenactment statue brought out during the THAT FUCKING COCKSUCKER SOSA Festival held every midsummer's eve. My family always attends. A jovial time filled with unnecessarily loud conversations held in close proximity, the 20 FUCK salute, croquetas and shit talking Fidel Castro... the prick.
"arroz con pollo" diablos ya me distes hambre
@@miguelangelbermudezmora9286 ¡La jama!
@@ThOrb_God_of_Chonk so these bitches do love Sosa
I love how Matt completely didn't notice the guy with the shotgun from the movie trying to kill him. And then killed him without realizing who he was.
Well his head was gone, so it's somewhat understandable!
The Scarface game, one of the best GTA clones at the time.
(That bartender is Nika Futterman, aka, Asajj Ventress in 2008 Clone Wars, Sticks in Sonic Boom and Khan Maykr in Doom Eternal)
Scarface doesn't have gasoline, you're confusing with some other game, no?
Not a GTA clone but unique on its own way.
you prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me atm then you can watch all the latest movies on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother for the last few months :)
@Talon Alec Yup, I have been using instaflixxer for since november myself =)
@Talon Alec Yea, I have been using InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
"You Fucked Up" is the best game over screen in history.
My favorite detail in this game during the beginning if you let the shotgun guy kill you from behind it’ll a play a cutscene where Tony falls into the fountain like the movie ending.
I'm honestly disappointed you didn't instantly turn around to kill the shotgun guy. That was my first instinct to do when I played this.
He just casually blows his head off a minute later without even realising
I still wish this game got some sort of remaster or rerelease.
This was a weirdly good-ass game despite being a videogame based on a film, but then again, this was also still in the old era where these types of games will still be solid despite being a tie-in cash grab.
I would complete your sentence by saying" tie-ins that where not related to a movies release" since those that came out at the same time as the movie where among the worst games of the generation
The devs more than likely wanted a good Scarface game as much as we did. The movie had already been out for a while so I wouldn't call it a cash grab.
@@Beforezzz Iirc one of the options in the menu of this game was advertising the remaster of the movie which was out. Either way, this game is weirdly how I got into watching the movie, so I guess it worked.
@@rohankishibeandpinkdarkboy8853 How foolish of me to believe that a random Scarface video game out of nowhere was their intent. Man's greed knows no bounds.
Lots of licensed music, a few actors likenesses... I doubt it will ever be remastered. And that's sad
Such an underrated game.
It’s so much fun!
It was also very inovative , how you could talk to every npc, something that had never been done outside games like rpgs and point and click adventures (and many probably think red dead redemption 2 made it first while this game had done it 12 years before) also how custom cars could be delivered, where harder to destroy and gave you access to your arsenal through the trunk , made it the first sandbox game that made buying cars make sense
Yes. U can go up to people and sell drugs. Alot of mechanics in this game that others dont.
It came in the end of the ps2 generation, sadly. I noticed long ago that end gen games tend to get underrated
"This is gar-trash!!" - The greatest gamer in the country
This was the coolest "what if" sequel
Tommy Lee is the voice of the record shop owner! This VO cast is MIRACULOUS! still my favorite ps2 game!
"SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE GAME ! "
This needs to be a full LP! Please Matt!
LOL! "I got no balls!... my Drugs!! I need those!!!" Had me rolling laughing.
I've always loved this game. I wish we lived in a universe where this would get a remaster.
This and the Warriors are two of my favorite underrated games from this era
I love that my current daily routine now is getting up, and watching Matt play some game I've never heard about while I have breakfast before work 👌
Please Lord, we need this on backwards compatibility.
LOVE the soundtrack on this game. Also the buying territory mechanic was always satisfying
Yo, an Event Horizon game would be so rad, I never even thought of that
Honestly want a remake of this game.
I absolutely loved this game when it came out lol. Doing coke shipments and rolling around with Afrika Bambaata blasting :)
Keep playing this game, Matt! This was my childhood!
Down for a full playthrough of this, hella funny vid McMusles!
I heard this was actually pretty good back in the day.
13:50 Those are actually the actors that played Crockett and Tubbs on Miami Vice. This game is packed with celeb cameos
I loved this game. I hope one day they bring it to Steam. More please!
Just 100% this game two days ago. Surprisingly short. Teenage me must've been terrible at this.
Would be great to see more of this, such an underrated game, had lots of fun way back on PS2
This game has sooo much badass stuff
The weapons are satisfying, getting money, boosting your mansion and unlocking cars was pretty cool IMO
Hey Matt, I just wanted to say thank you for your consistent uploads and great attitude you continue to have on every video. I very much enjoy these gameplay videos just as much as the Wha Happen? videos ^_^
I remember quite liking this at the time and it still looks good!
Would definitely like to see more, kinda regret not playing it back in the day. I just put it off as a vice city ripoff but seems to be it's own thing. Plus Scarface is just such a sweet movie/ franchise
I remember enjoying this game but I don't think I ever finished it. I'd love to see more bro
More games need BALLS meters.
Absolutely need to see more of this!
When you managed to get Al Pacino's face and Godfather couldn't.
Fun fact, it's *because* they got Pacino for this role that they couldn't get him in Godfather
@@leonsmith206 Not exactly. They got Pacino's likeness, but he handpicked Andre Sogliuzzo for the voice role.
YES MATTPHAT!!!! MO'!!!!!!!! I have to see it thru again its been so long since my bro and I beat it...like every other weekend it felt like when he was growing up
Damn, Hanna Montana's dad is a total badass
"How Scarface Got His Groove Back"......coming to theaters this Christmas.....MAN I WOULD PAY TO SEE THAT.
I always knew that this game will cult one of these days. It wasn't half bad, it was one point and a half great.
I would be fully down for Matt playing more of this.
Yes, the Razor Ramon gimmick was inspired by Tony Montana. Hey Chico!
Please play some more. Freaking loved this game b
Please please please more of this. What an excellent episode.
REACHED THE TOP BUT STILL YOUVE GOTTA LEARN HOW TO KEEEEEEEEP IT!!!!! OOOOH YEAH!!!!
This game needs a remaster. It's not on Steam or any other digital distributions.
I would love to see more of this, it was one of my favorite growing up and it's even more ridiculous and hilarious than I remember
Oh yeah, more please!
There's always time for more Scarface :-)
another game that has a neat drug dealing minigame is in my opinion GTA Chinatown Wars. it was fun lol
Something something "WHY'D I PUT A FACKIN MAZE HERE MAN"
One of my favorites of the PS2 era.
To be fair, a No More Heroes and Scarface crossover would be sick.
Fun Fact; This game once made it on to the Australian Today show.
Not the game, but a billboard advertising the game. Because the billboard was across from a daycare centre and many moms were upset about it.
Played through this with sheer commitment in my middle school days. M rated games were still somewhat off limits for me but that didn't stop my balls from becoming incomparable.
Need a new pc port for steam.
Event Horizon: The Game : Another Space Station to Torture Hell
Dead space or the rip off on the PS5
Scarface is an amazing game, it's not easy to get running on PC but I recommend you practice the lock-on. There's no right mouse-button aim, but it locks on to the nearest enemy when you hold it. It's super effective with the Shotgun once you get that. But the game is super cheesy and probably my favorite non-GTA game, even over Saints Row.
Where can I get it for PC?? Or how? I actually still have the PS2 disk.
I loved this game!!!
You gotta continue this game bro
This was probably one my top games of my teen years
dont go in the fucking water dear god DO NOT GO IN THE FUCKING WATER
lmao. I never owned this game but my cousin had it on xbox. good times
This game is very fun and funny!
One of the best gta clones!!!
I played it on my wii xDD
How could they not be considerate and cleanup Tony's mansion for him?!
I remember playing this on PS2 in a dorm room at Bloomsburg. Good times
I have this game almost beat. I need to finish this awesome game!
“We take this town by the *balls* “
- Tony Montana, 1983
-colorized
Of course we need more. If not I'll never know if Tony was able to find a decent interior decorator!
Maybe it's just me but don't remember the cut scenes being so out of sync. Nvm it fixed later
I always loved that the game is really a sequel to the movie. And the fact that Tony basically has Spider sense to turn around and shoot the assassin.
This game is pretty advanced considering it’s a ps2 game from 2006...
In America, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women
I am the only person I know that played this game. True gem this.
SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!!
Loved this and vice city lmao!
You know what? This game had sharks chomping you up if you spent too much time in open waters 7 years before GTA V...
This game is better than GTA 5
@@rockduck2210 Maybe. Depends on who you ask. Millennials that are playing GTA V 9 years now for the online content only won't understand how good a single player crime simulator is.
There's a very popular rpg series that's a "what if" sequel to its original form. I don't want to say the name because it might spoil it for those who don't know.
Please more
When he completely ignores the Assassin guy behind him
One of the Top 10 ps2 games 👍
Loved this game
Yes, MOAR!
CANT STOP ADDICTED TO THE SHINDIG
I wish games like this still existed, all we get now are buy now we'll fix it later games that are all the same
PLEEEEZE more of this game it's so hilarious
If you play this again, try swimming around in open water a bit longer, something unexpected might happen
Yessss more!!!!
Yes more scarface please
Sometimes I just watch the opening jingle and then leave 🤣😌🤷🏽♂️
I wish somebody remaster this game
Abso-fucking-lutely play more of this hidden gem
This and The Godfather game were so much fun.
i love how you talk to the non playable old woman
Loved it
You don't know Debbie Harry?
Sad man.
Really loves the intro music listening 3 times before watching the video
Also Say hello to my little friend
I'd watch a full walkthrough.
In America, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.
