- Some notes about the video:
The maps show all the territories the ruler controlled at the end of his reign. In this case, the areas in bright blue are the king's domains, and in light blue are the areas in which the ruler has nominal power or an area of influence, but is not an area under his domain. This same logic is applied during the Norwegian civil war (1130-1240).
Some dates are "split" because it is not very clear what year some kings began or ended their reign.
You may have noticed that I didn't include all of Norway's 'de facto' rulers, that's because the video would be a bit confusing and oversaturated, maybe in the future I could try to do it differently, but not for now. I hope you can understand this. Thank you.
