sister, go to home depot, pluck a pup from a moon cactus and a regular bunny ear cactus which are free in nature and boom! you got a moon cactus. better in your hands than let them die at home depot, i believe 30% of their plants die and its sad so you can ask an employee if you can take a badly damaged cactus for less money or free even, i got a discount once, and i got a free cactus another time, i still have it, its growing beautifully in my hands.
You can use any cactus but thee scion will die fast if not compatible. There are roots stocks that are compatible for moon cactus and they grow and stick together longer
i have a large "cereus repandus" if i cut the top off there would be a space at least 200mm can i multigraft several scions like maybe 6 to this one space of all different color scions. Should i use some type of glue and what type and can i graft a scion to the top of another scion, also when i buy the already grafted rootstock and scion, can i graft that rootstock straight to the "cereus repandus" rootstock will this work better.I think it's called nurse grafting.
can i graft a very old 400mm Gymnocalycium genus to the top of a ""cereus repandus"Peruvian apple cactus" with a rootstock size off about 200mm"" is it worth the risk of killing the Gymnocalycium genus ,how likely is this to work. or would it be too top heavy THANKS

can u make video about types of cacti that can be use for root stock? bcause i think it must be only some type of cacti not of all.. hello from indonesiaaa
I think you don\t need to use compost. They thrive in sandy mediums. Water only when the soil is totally dry like 1week or 2weeks check and insert your finger in the soil and see if it's wet/cold. If it is, then don't water yet.

I did it I successfully grafted a Opuntia microdasy with a moon cactus. It worked , it’s awesome, I call it a space bunny 🐰 🥰

Yup! Grafting is art!
What if one does not have pereskiopsis plants? What is an alternative adhesive?
