Daedra Hearts are supposed to be very rare and perilous to acquire, the Hero of Kvatch is pretty much the only person in all of Tamriel that can be reasonably expected to gather 20 of them since he eats Dremora for breakfast, and that's still only due to living during the Oblivion Crisis when the Gates provide easy access to lots of them. Even the other TES MCs would have trouble with that quest. (Not sure if there even are 20 hearts in all of Skyrim for example, so you'd have to abuse merchants restocking, which in-universe would mean importing them from other regions.) But yeah, it's some great game logic nevertheless.
@@DeuxisWasTaken You can easily harvest them with daedra summoning spells. And every chimeric/daedric ruins are overrun with them. So no, its surprisingly not hard to obtain in previous games.
"Go Fish" has a special place in my heart. I started my very first game and was just wandering around the outskirts of the city when I bumped into that fisherman. Got his scales after ages of waffling about in the water. I got curious about his comment "Almost have enough saved so I can retire..." So I broke into his house and stole his retirement money, something like a whopping 14gold, if that. Ah, the memories~
I actually enjoyed Blood on the Ice, but most likely only because, by some miracle, it worked perfectly AND, with absolutely no prior knowledge, I actually went and took Calixto's little museum tour prior to doing it. So when I got to the reveal that he was the killer, I was honestly pretty upset by the truth. I'd really enjoyed his eccentric, seemingly harmless persona of a man who just runs a fun curiosities shop. But he's been a serial killer this whole time? And he lives right next to where my adopted daughter used to sleep? The betrayal! All in all, I enjoy a little murder mystery, but I get the feeling that isn't most people's experience with that particular quest line.
I didn't even know you could end this quest the way he did in this video. I had gotten the mage arrested and left and kept the amulet. I then come back another time to find another crime scene waiting for me and the investigation starts back up.

Katria has always been my favorite side character. It’s satisfying to see her arc. Plus I randomly ran into her old apprentice while wearing the crown. He freaks out and you get to murder him.
I like her, she isn't a stupid forced follower on an escort quest. Oh no, she is useful during the time she is around. Her bow is one of the best in the game. The story is interesting. And it's sort of a treasure hunt all across Skyrim, that doesn't evolve into a simple fetch quest or helping an NPC that is too stupid to turn around. Not to mention the absolute brokenness that is the crown. Only thing I notice is that ghosts in TES seem to be unable to walk through solid objects. If they could, Katria could easily put her head into a chest to see what's inside, or walk through gates and scout ahead.
Whaaat the Mazoga quest is great. You become a knight, you make a new friend, and you get extra gold for each black bow you collect in Rockmilk Cave, possibly the best cave in the entire game for loot.
Taxonomy of Obsession pissed me off so much with that stupid "You're gonna have to get me another one if it dies" bug loop where she just repeatedly murders the creatures you bring her so I just killed her to get the quest out of my quest log. This is the correct way to complete the quest.
I absolutely hated this quest... I'd do No Stones Unturned and any Nirnroot all over again over this garbage. Also she bugged for me a while later and still had dialogue for me to find the list of ingredients all over again, it just didn't show as a new quest. F**k her.
What I hate about Blood on the Ice is that by chance, Calixto can murder someone who is actually quite valuable to you. he can murder Niranye, the fence and questgiver for Windhelm's Thieves Guild quest, and therefore ruin your progression there.
Also, is Blood on the Ice still bugged in AE version of the game? Do they have the sheer audacity to re-release this game for million times without fixing any bugs?
There's plenty of other gamebreaking bugs that got left in. In major questlines too! I've never had any issues with Blood on the Ice though I would've prefered it over the other ones I encountered. Castle Volkihar gate didn't open (simple but annoying work-around for that) Alduin not landing in the scence where you learn Dragonrend (had to come back later to let it fix itself) Miraak stuck in his ethereal form during the final battle (Oh dear God that was an absolute nightmare to find a solution that worked and then being unsure if I was doing it right cause the solution was too poorly described and didn't work the first few times)

15:25 the peryite quest is UNBELIEVABLY hard on legendary. The green puke attacks aren’t physical or one of the three elements either so they deal an absurd amount of damage even if you’re fully kitted out. Are they generic magic damage similar to vampire’s life steal?
They count as a shout, so probably magic like most shouts. Also, they can be fully blocked by a simple Lesser Ward like every shout can be (that includes dwarven centurion's "shout"). Yes a novice spell counters all shouts, including dragon shouts. Yes, it is dumb.

Morrowind may be one of my favourite games, but I usually just find myself doing everything *but* the main story. Well, except for the parts dealing with Caius; he is my second favourite Skooma addict (right after Skooma Steve).
I don't like getting the Crimson Nirnroots in Blackreach, even if you hear one there is a 50% chance you won't be able to locate it. I spent quite a bit of time in Blackreach and found myself either going in circles after hearing one or getting completely distracted. What usually gets me to leave is either not finding enough food to increase my HP or the screen being blurry from exhaustion, so I don't advise going to Blackreach for long periods of time on Survival.
I was so excited for dwemer ruins to return since I loved them in skyrim. I guess what bothers me is that some of the mystery of the ruins are.. ruined? or that most of them are infested by falmers. I do however love the idea that it's essentially an entire underground city and all the ruins are connected. They just suffer a bit because even though they are quite different from each other, they feel somehow kinda same-y
I don't really like The Only Cure as a quest all that much, but I do like Spellbreaker. I'm not into the Dwarven ruins as much as the Nordic tombs. That being said, I like Lost to the Ages.
Blood on the Ice was frustrating for me because I finished civil war before wanting to get it started. Well... You can't start it if you finish civil war for the empire.
I can think of two Skyrim quests off the top of my head and they're both hagraven related. lol. I really liked the one where you freed a trapped one to go kill the rival and her minions. I also liked the one of siding with a witch to trick her mother into thinking you're a sacrifice for her own ascension into hagraven-dom.
Yep, dunno if there was a playthrough where I didn't have to use the console... My first character ever didn't even trigger the second phase of the quest, so Wuunferth is still rotting in jail on that one...
Things like the Peryite quest in Skyrim is why I keep everything in a chest somewhere. All kinds of gems, bones, teeth, tusks, alchemical ingredients. Everything.
To be fair with Rumare Slaughterfish, the ring is a great early game ring for the races who cannot breath underwater. Well, unless you play as an Argonian, then the ring is pointless to us. LOL
please, these are easy quests. You want REAL bad quests? Play Daggerfall, where you have to find a random piece of parchment in a randomly generated dungeon, THERE'S your bad quests.
@@akechijubeimitsuhide I don't do DB too many times, so I'm not 100% sure, but I think you also don't get her special reward and don't unlock her as a spouse either, because you didn't kill Alain when she told you to.
I sure love it when a quest is so buggy that you're better off using console commands so it works properly, now I can see why Skyrim is the best game 10/10
wow i had no idea blood on the ice was buggy its one of my favorite quests! maybe the unofficial patch mod fixes it and that's why I've never had any issues?
I remember accidentally finding out there was more to the blood on the ice quest when I revisited skyrim after probably about 6 months of not playing. I went to the windhelm jail and happened upon Wuunferth, completely oblivious to the fact that I was the one who had him arrested all that time ago
Lifting the Vale is great. There's also an unmarked quest for the Circlet of Omnipotence. I've always liked Pale Pass - and I swear I always get a Ring of Shadows when I go in there.

Oblivion gold rewards were insultingly small lol
I really like Dwemer Ruins. They are so different from everything else in Skyrim and the Dwarves have a lot of very cool lore behind them.
I still dont know what I hate about it. Maybe it's the color scheme, or the loud noises coming from everywhere, or the robots.
Cant beilve u couldnt convince ork lady at 1st go i did that shiz 1st playtrough
I feel so alone, I actually love Dwemer ruins in Skyrim lol
You're not alone! Even I can bring myself to enjoy them, but they just feel super tedious sometimes... especially the one with Spellbreaker...
Restoring guild status in the mages guild might be my personal least favorite. It’s always an instant piss off.
Not sure if it's here but Mannimarco's quest to collect 10 statues.
That'sCoolDude: *Gets mad at fans choices*
The fans: Im on your side!
Having not done that quest at that point in the video, 6:14 SLEW me
I don't really like The Only Cure as a quest all that much, but I do like Spellbreaker. I'm not into the Dwarven ruins as much as the Nordic tombs. That being said, I like Lost to the Ages.
Spellbreaker is cool and good for a lot of builds, but man... that Dwarven Ruin is endless...
This is hilarious, you deserve way more subs.
Thank you! I'm happy you're enjoying it!
I never had an issue with mazoga’s quest lol
Same, she's just annoying imo
I'm in a love - hate with Lost to the Ages. I hate the dungeon crawl, but I love the time with ghost GF
Same, Katria is almost worth those tedious dwarven ruins...
absolutely loved the content, painfull quests funny moments, keep it up
Thanks, happy you like it!
At least the ring has no carry weight right 😅😅😅
Does Mazoga act differently if you are Champion of the Nine?
Nope, she's this way regardless :(
The shadow wine thing is so tedoius i only found 2 one in a abanded home in the woods & 1 in abandoned inn in the middle of frinken noware
Yeah, I did that quest about 2 times in the entire year-long gameplay of Oblivion...
I'm pretty sure that I've never completed Mazoga the bit... orc questline to the end. She was way too annoying for me to bother
She becomes normal in the end, but my god, she's annoying all the way through...
A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
Blood on the Ice was frustrating for me because I finished civil war before wanting to get it started. Well... You can't start it if you finish civil war for the empire.
Yeah, that Windhelm fight really messes the quest up...
Now that you did the worse quests how about easing your pain and doing some best quests
That would be a nice change, now wouldn't it?
@@ThatsCoolDude it should. You deserve a break from all the torture
Do it on Morrowind now.
last one was bugged every time im trying to complete it. hate it
Yep, dunno if there was a playthrough where I didn't have to use the console... My first character ever didn't even trigger the second phase of the quest, so Wuunferth is still rotting in jail on that one...
Skooma addict
Honestly, I would really like Blood on the Ice…. If it would work without command prompts for once 😅
What was that song that was playing during the shadow banish quest? That was sick sounding XD
You have not done my quest... :<
Discerning the Transmundane pls? The full comment is in the last hated quest vid.
I just get them as i progress rather then hunting specifically for it- or lump with other quests i know have enemies of that type.
11:35 Alain is here? Did you start the Dark Brotherhood quest already or is he always just chilling here? :''''D
He's always there.
@@sleeplesstime What happens if you kill him before doing the DB quest? Do you just get a dialogue option to tell Muiri he's already dead?
@@akechijubeimitsuhide I don't do DB too many times, so I'm not 100% sure, but I think you also don't get her special reward and don't unlock her as a spouse either, because you didn't kill Alain when she told you to.
You don't get the optional quest from Muiri involving Nilsine, but there's a work-around with the setstage console command!
My " Blood on the ice " quest is bugged. This guy at the marketplace just stands there with his knife, and I can't do more... Nothing happens.
What's the piece of music playing during Rumare Slaughterfish? I used to play that when I was a kid.
Wait, people dislike Lost to the Ages? Man, I actually quite enjoyed that quest..huh.
I remember accidentally finding out there was more to the blood on the ice quest when I revisited skyrim after probably about 6 months of not playing. I went to the windhelm jail and happened upon Wuunferth, completely oblivious to the fact that I was the one who had him arrested all that time ago
It's all a buggy mess...
Scottish Maridea?
She decided to change accents in Skyrim, because she knew how goofy it would sound.
I’ve come across your insta before didn’t know it was linked to a RUclips channel 😂
Lost to the Ages was really fun at high level when majority of quests were completed
Lifting the Vale is great. There's also an unmarked quest for the Circlet of Omnipotence. I've always liked Pale Pass - and I swear I always get a Ring of Shadows when I go in there.
Like the quest too! Just not the ring you can't throw away :(
@@ThatsCoolDude Yh that sucks. But on PC you can fix it at least. I always steal back the Draconian Madstone for my collection.
14:16: this gorilla-like monster really kicked the sh*t out of your character's corpse. It has anger issues.
Ikr... also that how trolls look like in Oblivion!
There's at least one thing newer and older TES players can agree on
Meridia's quests suck.
Honestly I liked mazoga and was disappointed when I learned she couldn't be a follower
She's just a pain in the a*s for the majority of that quest which makes her annoying (imo)
Shadowbanish wine? Oblivion was before its time.
I'm sorry, but I just love the Mazoga dialogue.................
I like Lost to the Ages, of the better skyrim quests. The Forge Master is a bastard tho
I actually liked lost to the ages but everyone has their own opinions.
I wished for this in last episode and you followed. Thank you.
Happy you like it!
Love the Soyjack thumbnail.
not rocking w jar scream every 6 mins we get it pal
8:25 what's the soundtrack here? Rockin'!
Mazoga's quest is not bad, the heck.
Mandrake root: never leave home without it.
Funny enough I didn't mind Mazoga
Hey can you do more Skyrim stuff
It's either vampire dust or nirn root
first time i did the rumare slaughterfish quest i didnt any quest markers so i swam around aimlessly and got 4 scales. then i left, leveled up a bunch, came back and suddenly quest markers worked. quest blew but the waterbreathing ring is nice
That sounds painful...
why is blood on the ice a bad quest?
I always hated fighting Wraiths, that noise they made was the worst thing ever.
Worst fallout quests when
But I love dwemer stuff
5:04 megamind no bitches
Wish this wasn't the final
