Let me know what you think about this Mic system, how it sounds, its features and functionality.
I had a fun time with this system and think its a perfect run and gun wireless lav system compared to what else is out there.

Nice test, Joe! More tips here: the 8 GB internal memory of BoomX-D PRO not only works as a recorder but also provides a great backup which allows us to recover signal and dropout issues that by just taking the backup audio and using that in post-production. It was the biggest issue on the 2.4G wireless system, now we solve it ;)
Although I won't be buying one, but it's great to watch your videos. And this video is the right place for me to ask a question that has perplexed me for long. You are the right person to ask it to -
Smartphones have tiny sensors and not much good lenses. But in daylight they give amazing results just on the basis of their software processing.
But a camera like ZV1 (which I have) has a bigger sensor and a good lens and yet it isn't miles ahead of a phone. I mean, under certain conditions, smartphones do come close to the ZV1.
For example, in the last shot with your phone, the sky as well as your face is exposed but I doubt if the ZV1 could do that. In fact there are videos in RUclips that compare the iPhone 13 to a 2000 dollar full frame Sony Cameras. And even with a tiny sensor and lens, the iPhone does give competition. To a non professional like me, under broad daylight, its impossible to tell the difference.
Now my question is this - why can't cameras use the software processing of smartphones and add their sensor and lenses to it and give us something amazing. Sony already makes/made smartphones. Why couldn't they get the chip from one of their 200 dollar phone and put it in the ZV1 so we could get something amazing?

Hey Joe! I'm glad you shared with us such a great product again&Like your scene!!😍
I love this system. At the moment I’m using a saramonic blink 500, which almost works the same and believe that purchase was one of the best I have ever done.
Hi Joe, Great video! I just bought the Sony ZV1 and already have the Rode Wireless Go but this audio set seems to be excellent in quality and user options. Peace from Amsterdam.
I have Problems with the boomx. I need to set my zv1 to sound Level 1. When I set IT to higher level the sound is hard and scratchy. And is it normal that I have to put the Transmitter deep to get a cleaner sound?
Hey Joe thanks so much for all the informative videos. I fell down a Sony ZV-E10 rabbit hole and discovered your videos. And i see you’re also talking about the next camera I’m going to get the Sony FX30. Please keep up with these type of informative videos and having budget options. Much appreciated.
Thank you for this comment. Hahah, we all fall down those sort of rabbit holes as photographers or filmmakers. That's awesome that you are going to get the FX30. Are you more into filmmaking or photography?
Thank you for this video review. I want to shoot yoga videos outdoors and saw this lav mic on Amazon. This looks like a solid wireless microphone that won’t break the bank. I appreciate this practical review as I have no clue about the technical aspects of equipment like this. I just want something that will work with both iPhone and DSLR.
I don't like devices with built-in batteries. I have gear with replaceable batts that are 8 or 10 years old. These new wireless mic systems are toast when the built in batts die. Wouldn't go for any of these similar systems. Good show .. very informative.
I have these they work great the battery last about three times longer than the Dji Mic2!
Excellent video 💯🙏🏽
I'm buying it just becouse of your video... I'll keep you posted, thanks
That's awesome, thank you for that. Please tell me how it goes!
What you Preferences be to for 2 or 3 people being interviewed at the same time
Nice review - sadly not available over here in Europe. Sounds good - comparison with Rode would be interesting.
Thanks for sharing, greetz from Belgium!
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it.
Good real world tests! I’m still using Rode wireless Go (1st gen)
So can you only do a Saftey track if your using one mic? In stereo mode? Like am I able to use do a two person interview using two transmitters and still have a Saftey track?
Got mine for $159 for my iphone!
Awesome!
Does it work with the Sony A6400?
Searching between this or DJI Mic
I do not know. I did not use the DJI mic, but I know the Comica works great.
Very great
Thank you. What is your favorite camera so far?
hmmm, links for everything here except the Comica....
Thanks for letting me know, will def fix that
@@thefilmalliance Sane team bro... I thought perhaps I just missed it, lol. Pilot error. I just did not see it. Thanks for all the info. I did pick up the comica...
