#1 Sisyphos, #2 Berghain, #3 Tresor (saw Jeff Mills at Tresor a while back... need to say no more :) )
You made a good review, man! It seems like the video you reviewed is designed more for tourists than for a people in a Techno/underground scene. offering a different perspective on things to do in Berlin. Check out Fold in London
Fold is on the list.
I'm really sad about the closing of Wilde Renate, one of the best in my opinion.
there will be a new one, no doubt
What it is really closing?! Had my first berlin club experience there :-((
It's so sad to hear about so many of these clubs getting shut down :( Clearly the politicians and developers want to get rid of these clubs, without realizing that they are a huge part of what makes Berlin great! Paving Berlin's culture for a highway is sickening.
I guess the clubs will just move to the nearby neighborhoods and a new era will start..
@@dastechnoteam I hope so! I heard Tresor may be struggling with high rent prices and might have to move as well, which it would be a shame to lose such a staple to the foundation of the techno scene. Great video again btw, really enjoy hearing your perspective👍
Das eine Bild was "nicht Berghain war", das war ein Bild ausm Kraftwerk. Die 8m Ebene, in einer Seitwärtsbespielung.

What do you think about RSO and Tresor ?
Tresor is an OG in terms of techno culture in Berlin. Personally, I (Maki) don't prefer it as a venue. However, they consistently feature good lineups and support newcomers, so I would definitely recommend it. For the connoisseurs, there is also OHM, a smaller venue that is part of the Tresor location.
Get Ritter Butzke out of there and Tresor in and I'm happy with the choice of top 10. Hell, I won't even complain too much about Prince Charles since there do seem to be plenty of people who really dig the place.
Grießmühle used to be my second home, it closing broke my heart. Any top 10 list without it in it is like a kick in the guts
We had some nice memories from Grießmühle too, but rso is definitely a different book. And Yes, Tresor not being on the list is a paradox 👽
No! 😮 Why did it close?
The documentary guys voice was so dull. Barely could stand it tbh
which is better, k41 or berghain?
so K41 and Berghain essentially share the same DNA, thus it is a question, where you spent more "quality time". For me it is K41, 100%.
It‘s hard to compare and there is no competition. But…
Because K41 was built with the knowledge and experience of BH, it is at the end a newer and fresher take on the ultimate raving experience. It puts the raver, as a guest in the center, more than the institution itself, thus making the experience warmer and more comfortable 🖤
RSO is definately missing
No, it's not...
@@dastechnoteam what dont you like about rso? its a great venue, great soundsystem, great bookings, great crowd, great staff. i have only one complaint about the crowd, that its the cliquey more fashionable 2kool4skool queer rave crowd. its like they took berghain but removed the "secret club" ego boost feeling that all who gett into berghain on a night collectively get
RSO definitely beats out Tresor at this point.Tresor crowd is really bad earlier in the night(for half the show!). Plenty of bewildered tourists just standing round awkwardly looking uncomfortable- many people who obviously look so out of place. my guess is that they know that most of these sightseers stay for an hour and then leave and its a ticket sold but i dont like the strategy.
@@hwfq34fajw9foiffawdiufhuaiwfhw Tresors crowd is not bad, it‘s just very mixed between experienced and unexperienced ravers. It is essential for a club like Tresor to exist, so many have the chance to enter this world and enjoy a dancefloor properly, especially if it’s their first time 🖤
@@hwfq34fajw9foiffawdiufhuaiwfhw you know, there might be a lot of good stuff to say about rso, but for some reason, people keep comparing it to Berghain. The „lighter“ „younger“ BH etc. There was actually no need for another Berghain. There is already one. And that’s exactly the problem. It just feels like an attempt to be something that will remind people of BH, only with bad construction materials and mediocre interior design. It feels like an echo of BH instead of having its own identity. With all the crazy bookings and the 100h events, it still hasn’t created its own identity. It‘s just another place for djs, who usually played only BH, to play gigs when they have free dates in Berlin. Neither its staff nor its resident guests can really point out or embody a special spirit or heart, a club should have. Cool project, nice venue, but it‘s not the reincarnation of the old Grießmühle (which was rightfully doomed) and it‘s not the younger BH.
Berghain: Final Boss. I LIVE!!
You win🦾💀🖤
heideglühen?
Heide instead of Prince Charles
Berghain number 1,2 and 3. and 4 and 5.
