Heavenly Father, as we come to the end of another week, we thank you that we know that you are the true God and that you alone give us eternal life through your only Son. Help us to keep ourselves from anything false or anything that is of the evil one. Keep us in your fellowship and away from the idols of our age. Through Jesus Christ our Lord and only Saviour, Amen.
I have to ask...WHY am I only now discovering your group??? I LOVE TO HEAR YOU, Listen to such a fascinating bunch of voices. I was (repeat, was) a singer...a capella...choral, barbershop...was born singing harmony...LOVE WHAT I HEAR even to this day...the BEST Group I have EVER heard! Wish I could still sing...but my voice (untrained - sighs) is pretty much gone these days (I'm an Octogenarian)...
We sang this my senior year of choir in 1992 for Area. I still know every word by heart. Amazing performance by Voces8. I wanted to belt out my Tenor 1 part but it's almost midnight and my wife's asleep - don't think that would go over very well.

I've been binging on your recordings for the last two hours tonight since discovering them. I love the balance and unified sound you've achieved with 8 voices especially on some of the more 'choral' of the works you guys sing- Thank you!!!
At about 2:40 in this recording the rising notes in the word "Sion" are beautiful. I love the whole piece, but I listen out for these every time. Funny what grabs us...
Nothing less than angelic!! This IS perfection! Please keep singing together and in this space- acoustics are fantastic! Phenomenal job- everyone!! 👏🏼 👏🏼 ❤
i like Voces8's bright harmonized sounds..... i only few times attend their music concert, but very emortional happy their concert was my memorial in life....
Just want to echo ISAIAH'S comment. The SOPRANOS are very well restrained. So easy to overwhelm. i wish that I could hear more songs emphasizing the lower register. Great group!!!
Isn’t quite the same without instrumental support-but a spectacular performance nonetheless! (I grew up on the Gregg Smith Singers recording done in San Marco in the 1960s…)
Great music. Besides, I think it is not polite to wear a hat or cap inside the christian places of worship. It actually applies to rooms inside almost any building.
+Dennis Travers They all move some with the music, which seems to be common with many *good* musicians. Motionless automatons are much more distracting.
Sorry chapesses but it's out of tune - not very good for Voces 8 and disappointing! This is a magnificent piece - what you've done with it isn't working. I'm a Voces8 fan and love a lot of the work you do but they're not all winners!

Such control and appropriate restraint from the sopranos - makes it lovely and light instead of commonly overblown ;)

Andrea has the best voice I have heard in years!
I've watched/listened to this video countless times and every time I get lost in the wonder of the piece. Masterful!

MARAVILLOSA COMBINACIÓN DE VOCES...GUARDARE TODO LO QUE ES VOCES8. ME TOCAN MI ALMA
I like the sudden burst of sunlight. Someone is trying to tell you something. ;) Stunning.
My choir performed this song last year, and somehow, I'm only just now discovering Voces8 did this song! Lovely as always! ❤
Light direction in rehearsal - one of the perks of singing in a group this size. One of my joys, as well. Bravo.

Fabulous intonation, phrasing, blend.

Wow - what a refreshment to my spirit.
How can you not simply say “Thank you, God”. Time to read His Word.

Keep on going on
Take care of you
Masterly singing in blend, control, finesse and tuning. Wonderful and an object lesson to all of us choral sngers
Sorry - anyone with half an ear could hear the sopranos are out of tune here!!!
If this is rehearsal, then you know what to expect in their concert: awesomeness!
Coughing from the audience.... :) :)
Cela me transporte..!! Merci à eux..
all memorized! impressive!!! Brava!
just some random guys bringing heaven to earth
Happy Easter, Everyone, from Wyoming!😷💞🌟

How beautiful is this,, wow,
Utterly beautiful
wow...that is next level.
I love this with full choir and brass, but this group surprised me . Such control and I love it.
Davvero bravi, magnifica.
WOW! This is great!
Muito bom ! Muito bom !
Great choir!
Sehr schön gesungen!
Just want to echo ISAIAH'S comment. The SOPRANOS are very well restrained. So easy to overwhelm.
i wish that I could hear more songs emphasizing the lower register. Great group!!!
The only problem is if you have an ear - they're out of tune !!! Think !!!!
Terrific!
Jubilate Deo🙏Omnis Terra🙏
Fantastic !
Very good indeed! A special bravo for the two sopranos...
Buenísimo. ¡Bravo!
Quina tècnica vocal més treballada i reixida!
Like angels........
Their "rehearsal" bests my choir on its best day. Lol.
Ein Traum!
💯 Heavenly !
Obrigado,
Wonderful! 10/10!
Voci ben armonizzate fra loro. Usate come preziosi strumenti... un angelico incanto
Davvero una bella esecuzione ! Grazie.
So beautifully done.
In rehearsal. One doesn't dress formally for rehearsals.
Devon Rempel - Lovely comment. Just wish you wouldn't simulate a Popsicle. Get the stick out of your ass.
An utterly ridiculous comment.
Wow!
bravi, bravi!!!
The soprano voice control at 4:10 👌🏻
This was a rehearsal? 😨
you stop me and I am somewhere else hanging in the air
MMC Year 5 Composed in 1587
If this is just a rehearsal....!!
wow, where is their wings ?
wow
Fuguealtastic !!!
Isn’t quite the same without instrumental support-but a spectacular performance nonetheless! (I grew up on the Gregg Smith Singers recording done in San Marco in the 1960s…)
I have to suspend belief that this is not really the human voice ..... I'm not very religious but this surely must
The one who’s wearing stripped shirt... so CUTE!
0:08 I’m so impatient lmao
Still waiting for Crucifixus by Lotti...... Just sayin

Great music. Besides, I think it is not polite to wear a hat or cap inside the christian places of worship. It actually applies to rooms inside almost any building.
Beautiful sound; good thing you're not ALL bobbing and weaving. There's always one. Distracting.
+Dennis Travers : It was a rehearsal
Really; so that happens ONLY at rehearsal? THAT one needs to be in a musical. Gorgeous group however!
+Dennis Travers you really ought to get to a concert when they are in your part of the world - if you can get a ticket!
I'm now with The Providence Singers just to keep my voice going!
+Dennis Travers They all move some with the music, which seems to be common with many *good* musicians.
Motionless automatons are much more distracting.
The music is majestic, but why is the tall guy wearing such ugly headwear?
I've got to stop watching this ensemble - they make my eyes hurt.
Why?
Time, tears & goosebumps.
isn’t it refreshing to see them in everydays clothes? I especially hate when women wear high heels.
Sorry chapesses but it's out of tune - not very good for Voces 8 and disappointing! This is a magnificent piece - what you've done with it isn't working. I'm a Voces8 fan and love a lot of the work you do but they're not all winners!
The guy with the black sweater has less power in his tenor.. He opened his mouth too much but i barely hear his voice...
Maybe because you're expecting to hear a tenor voice coming from the one who's singing the baritone (Bass I) part?
Stop bopping about and just SING! ITS VERY OFF-PUTTING TO WATCH!
Jeez! They move minimally, with very little movement from the director. Do you want them to stand there like mannequins?
Gaggy Mott Well it's just a rehearsal. But this is joyous, playful music that makes you want to fly. So why not move a little?
