Hello guys I am Afzal Arshad from kun foods and today i have shared juicy rice recipe in which long grain rice are cooked in gravy of chicken. This pulao recipe is super delicious and is made in southern Punjab region of Pakistan. I am sharing a very authentic style recipe with you so that you never fail or disappoint after trying this. For this recipe you need following ingredients.
Ingredients:
Chicken 1kg
Ghee 1cup
Onion 4medium
Cinnamon 2small pieces
Cardamom 3pcs
Cumin 2tbs
Cloves 6pcs
Black Cardamom 3pcs
Black Pepper corns 1tbs
bay leaves 2pcs
Tomato 4medium
Salt 2.5tsp total
Red chili 1.5tsp
Tamarind Pulp 5tbsgms
Water 1.5ltrs
Rice 1kg soaked
Other than above ingredients, add some love and you will taste the best pulao of your life.
I've cooked this today. and used dahi instead of tamarind water. And it turned out really amazing. Thank you @Afzal sir

finally someone made pulao the way I was taught and have always made with tomatoes and darkening of onions, whenever I've made it I get told this isn't pulao/this isn't authentic/this is weird... so glad to find platform of people acknowledging that there are MANY ways to make curry/rice recipes...thank you bhai very nice video :)

Okay, now you have inspired me enough to get out in this -20 C cold weather and buy some chicken to make this recipe for dinner tonight.
The colder the weather the more a fresh steaming pulao straight off the dumm hits the soul and warms the tum and the heart. Punjabis soul food.

This is exactly how my mum taught me and we have always had it like this. Pulao in my opinion is the best. I do like biryani but I think its overrated

Amazing everything Bhai apka kitchen dressing and apki recipe amazing.
I just made this with a few additions. Added chopped dhania and poodinah when I added the tomatoes. Kept the gravy bit more. Before dum, added teaspoon of kewra water.

Thank you so much for the delicious recipe. I made it exactly followed step by step and it was so delicious 😋. The color was also nice and dark. It is so amazing using very less ingredients and get such a flavorful result. We have Pakistani stores here in San Francisco so buying our spices and other things are easy. I made this today and it came out amazing. I'm not a great cook but this was very easy to follow and make. I didn't add the imli as I couldn't find it in London.
