Maybe God wanted me to see this today. Earlier I was on the verge of giving up even contemplating suicide but I don't have the guts to do it😢.
Like you, people see me as the strong one who is there for everyone but I suffer in silence. You are not alone in this and it is good to know I am not either as I can relate.
I am praying that God will heal my heart because I honestly feel like I'm about to give up.

Take it from me, Uncle Bumps. I am a long-time married man; life is not a bed of roses. But if you take the good with the bad, things will work out in the long run. Learn to prioritize. Don't put too much on your plate at once; you will be overwhelmed. Network with other like-minded people. And get help from friends, family, neighbors or professionals. And most importantly, stay focused on the big picture.

I totally can relate so i understand but i just want to share with you my experience with my son who is now 26 yrs. He was not able to say words in sentences until he was five to six years and was in speech therapy from 2yrs right through high school… as a mother i often times worried about what his future will be like yet one strong principle he had was being independent and wanting to do things by himself. He was very smart with subject like Math and science also Chemistry as a matter a fact he did advance math in high school… at 26yrs he’s now a staff Sergeant in the Marine Core, Just brought his first home and doing absolutely well. Your beautiful girls are brilliant and they will do absolutely great just a matter of time.
Liz u are not alone girl but when ur emotions are overwhelmed remember God always there for u n ur family he is with u take courage my dear ❤
So glad you’re being transparent. It’s very hard to show up for the family and not for your self. You end up being burnt out. I’m there now physically and emotionally spent. Please show up for you . Your family sometimes don’t even realize that you’re need them to show up for you. Sometimes we need to get a person who is willing to be an accountability person for you . Keep praying.
Just talk to God he is there for you in every test there is testimony

I don’t normally comment but Liz, I feel you. This made me very emotional because I can understand how you feel. Who’s there for the strong ones? Liz i feel your pain. {Who will support the strong one) i often give to family and friends but never can find anyone to pour into my cup when it's empty. If you decide to call a friend, they sometimes downloading on you before you can speak. So you just hold your own. i have a friend who is closer than a brother or sister. I just talk to daddy jesus about what ever i am going through, sing two song to him, after that i feel refresh and revitalized. You can call on Jesus he will give your peace in the midst of the battle.

You have a village. Don't ever question how much you do for your family. Even taking time for yourself is a pro for the family. Having been married 16+ years and having a demanding job outside of the family, I take my me time and just relax and recharge. I learned that the hard way. Rest and sabbatical is healthy. Keep working on prioritizing you. Ladies let's be the community we need.
So sorry you are stressed ,but this too will pass ! I understand we women/ mothers try to do it all, and put ourselves last, but there comes a time when you will realize if there is no you then what? and try to start prioritizing your well being and not feel guilty. It’s funny it was only today I was reflecting and wondered how did I do,it! ( My kids are now grown) Liz, please watch your blood pressure as stress can lead to various things ,and age has nothing to do with it. I am a speech patholgist here in the US, and I cannot explain how many parents (especially moms) share the exact same sentiments expressed.

Girl I fully understand your frustration.Truth be told Girl as a woman of substance we all feel them feelings sometimes.
Liz, you have to be careful of overstimulation in the playroom. Think about the learning areas eg. reading, science/tactile, arts & crafts, music etc. etc. you don’t have to fit ALL the areas at once…use containers for storing.
Use play rug instead of carpeting…create a cozy corner for the reading center and then build around it.
You can use cubbyhole wall unit for toys and bookcase/ shelves for books.
I know life comes at us hard at times, however, God got you and your family.

Liz, this is my reality right now! We as women always push ourselves aside and make sure to show up for everyone else. Truthfully, we have to make time for ourselves and build us back up. Remember you can’t pour from an empty cup, so take time to fill yourself up. Blessings to you and your family ❤

We woman’s , mother’s, ladies and wives we always fall short for ourselves. We have to start to take care of ourselves, once a month get pamper, go shopping, go for a lovely meal with friends. Liz I clearly understood how you feel. It’s good to speak out how we feel so that we don’t feel like the world is crumbling down on us. Just keep pressing on and don’t let these issues break you. Keep smiling and know that you and your family is loved.

After church on Sabbath I had a prayer meeting to address me...I am tired of my roller coaster....so I called in for backup through prayer...God loves it when we stop trying to be in control and let go by "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 1 Peter 5:7....Your sharing, your honesty is a blessing for us all female and male. I have been upset with myself for not being obedient to God in not allowing myself to heal through taking time away after losing my job, followed by by diagnosis with stage 1 cancer, surgery, healing then covid in that time I came across your youtube channel. I found you to both to be real and not trying to win over your audience with a life that does not represent your individualities. In closing, Much prayer, much power....BLESSINGS TO ALL!

Liz you know you saying who the strong ppl go to ,a few years ago I was at my lowest time, so I ask someone to pray for me, and at the time the person was going through his thing too, and he said to me who pray for the person who's always praying for persons, and wen he said it. It really grab me, so fi real we have to take time for us!!! Love the works that the workmen are doing they're going fast. And trust mi a BIG THANK YOU MY FAVORITE COUPLE FOR THESE VIRGO'S inspite of all you guys have to do each day, and still find time for us. Blessings. I had to take care of my Mom who had alzheimers as well as my little one being diagnosed with Autism.
I had to take care of her and take my son to speech and Occupational therapy.
I almost had a heart attack.
My mom passed and I had to take time for me, whether a massage, a meditative moment , a happy hour etc.
It's got better and still a work in progress.
It's not easy being a woman I take it day-by-day.
As so should you.
I am the strong friend and always expected to be there for them and no one asks how am I.

Liz I love your authenticity . Praying for God's grace to continue to carry you. Big up to all strong ones. Remember you can take your burdens to God in prayer. That floor is too beautiful to be covered just put a rug on the floor. Check some other hardwares like Phil's, Rapid and Sheffield and some smaller ones. Before you go online check in some other parishes. Just call them and ask before you head it. I'm sure an hardware in a place like all Mandeville have it.
I actually just drop my son off at speech therapy before turning on this episode. I was just saying how hard it was to work and juggle therapy with my son between his school and my work. You just acknowledging the struggle just touched my heart . Thank you for being so transparent and acknowledging that some days are hard. Thank you Thank you . Hi how long have you been working and how old is your son? Do you have help at home with him? I have a now 2 year old but I do not work now. I am home with him and daddy works but we have no relatives at all around. He has a sister but she's not really close by and my baby has assessment next month as he just turn 2. I am seeking hope to see if I will ever work again.
@venessaphilips4542 my son was diagnosed when he was 5. I had a family friend who is very close to me who watch him while I worked as therapy for him was costly so I had to work in order for him to start intensive speech therapy. He is now 14 and does ABA therapy 3 times a week. I also now work from home since the pandemic which helps alot.
@@altheaclarke7038 wow am so happy for you and tell your friend who watches him that I said I appreciate the help very much and I hope that it can be continuous. Even though we haven't met before but I know how hard it can be and how important it is to get help. Give your son a big hug for me as well and I am happy he has come this far. I think you should have fun and inspirational stickers on the wall. Put a low bookshelf in one corner , a play mat and two small bean bags in another corner and storage bins for their toys in another area

This is such a harsh reality. I just ended a call expressing to someone how difficult it is and how defeated I am feeling being a parent and trying to reach my son because being an involved parent is so tough but we continue to push through as each day will get better just be consistently consistent.

Sending you so much love! The vulnerability is greatly appreciated. Playroom now… try play mats over carpet. Then bookshelves low enough for them to access things or interact with the items. Storage containers are nice but you will probably want to access some of the things more easily. How about some graphics on the wall to take them into an imaginative world? White walls don’t stimulate creativity or learning.

When i was raising my daughter i was a single mother it was so hard for me .i of to take her to day care then go to work after work i had to pick her up .sometimes i just break down and cry .i know what you are going through. Now my daughter is 18 years preparing for college. You kids will soon grow up Liz and your are going to look back on jorney and you are going to be so happy.

I know exactly how you feel. I cried (bawl) listening to you just now. I thought I was alone in this situation. It helps to know that there are others out there experiencing the same thing and that we can support each other. I literally feel like running away from it all.

Liz, thank you for your honesty and your refreshing vulnerability. You are not alone. As a mother of 5, I understand exactly what you are saying. I had to learn to juggle a full time job (teaching of all things), motherhood, church work and life with all its ups and downs as well. I was told like you that I was strong. My response was and still is, strong branches break sometimes. It's so easy to take care of others but not yourself. Carve out some time for yourself every day. It may have to be at 5:00am or 11:00pm but find the time. Do something just for you and don't feel guilty. And the most important thing which you left out is keep as close to your God as possible. He will see us through. This is what keeps our spirits up. Cry out to Him in your secret place. He gives the strength. My last child has just graduated from college. All 5 are now grown. Don't give up. With God's help, you'll make. If you need help, don't be afraid to get it!
God is there for you. Keep praying. You have a beautiful family so put your trust in God.
Take your time. You will get there.

Yes we do have our days that we have to put on the best foot forward and really we laugh and smile through whatever we going through just to keep the energy around us positive so that others can feel that positivity and not what we are dealing with when the doors are closed on the outside. Keep pushing and keep going because every problem always have a solution. Let us continue to accept the things we cannot control by trying to changing it. I for one definitely had to learn to let go and let God. We appreciate you Virgos, we are continuously praying for you both and that whatever it is, God will see you both through. My spouse and I are going 33 years yesterday and it wasn't easy, especially with communication, but we learn to communicate eventually, with time, but the love is stronger more than ever as we grow older. My therapeutic moments comes from praising God, seeing my family happy or just helping someone out ❤ Inspite the feeling life goes on.
