So, Dana White himself just confirmed here that the UFCs match makers WILL actually tell fighters that they personally don't like to stop shooting for takedowns/grappling so much or they will not renew their contract. I understand its not the most exciting, fan friendly way to fight, but he has finally admitted the UFC does this to certain fighters that they don't like. Belal Muhammad is lucky he won the fight, because despite him winning all the time, im pretty sure hes always just 1 or 2 losses away from being cut by the UFC. They did everything they could to not give him a title shot, but he just kept winning. Then they figured Leon would make easy work of him, but instead now hes the UFCs Champion. And Dana is pissed.
