What's make me hype its about zin and walter, i have wait for their appearance again like long time since i finish sky trilogy. Calvard sure worth the hype so far
For a few games I legitimately believed they could make their weapons disappear in a pocket dimension. Why? Because no one was aware that Kloe was carrying a rapier in FC until she pulled it out, Renne somehow hid a whole scythe in SC/Zero, Shirley hid Testa-Rossa which is taller than her whole body...etc. Personally I think Falcom should've used this limitation from the old games to add to the worldbuilding, maybe introduce an orbal 'Bag of Holding' for transporting goods and weapons aka your inventory.
Yuri also alternated between swordplay and punches/kicks. His main method of swordplay was slash-heavy combos with punches/kicks that disoriented enemies long enough to really lay into them. Seems this Van guy uses the same general approach.
Is it only me think that Hime and rean actually look good together I mean look at them same cloth color/style almost similar katana and using eight leave one blade they could be powerhouse couple and maybe got combo skill together .
Based on rean episode in hajimari i can say she and rean might have senpai like relationship if they both meet again still we don't have any info about hime real name and age. I agree with you she look good together lol.

Someone Yun Ka-fai took as a disciple before Rean. She seemingly has a high position within the Ikaruga Ninjas, and Rean ran into her since Rean walked into some ninja business while looking for Yun Ka-fai. Just think of her someone that is as powerful as a Divine Blade(dunno if she has received that title officially though) and has been taught by Yun Ka-fai. That's all really. Her stance isn't really known, but for now she isn't really hostile towards Rean as long as he don't get in the way for the Ikaruga Ninjas. Just told him to get better until the world need him again.

Understandable considering protag stuff but still. I also got spoiled so there's that. Gonna try to avoid the Trails circles when this comes out lol

Mechs will likely not be the main focus in Kuro, but wouldn't be surprised if some would appear. For now it seems like if Cold Steel was Mecha, Kuro will be Kamen Rider/Tokusatsu. But more info needs to come out before becoming more certain about it.

No, they are not the same. Sword Maiden was Elaine Auclair. An A rank level bracer iirc from the Hajimari DLC Hime - was a eight-leaves blade practitioner also, specializing in zeroth form. Also mentioned in Hajimari DLC

I'll admit I'm way more interested in the action combat this series was in a desperate need for a shake up. Glad they have an option for both gameplay styles though.
It comes with the territory of being a Falcom game. Unless they can actually expand and grow as a company, you should expect this level of visuals from them. At least they're trying to upgrade from CS3/4/Hajimari graphics now.
Will this be released in North America with English dubs? I've noticed JRPG's are getting rather lazy and pushing product over here undubbed. I had bought Tokyo Xanadu, Sword Art Online and 7 Deadly Sins that were marked in the U.S. but not dubbed. I immediately ejected discs and returned to GameStop demanding a full refund for false advertising.
