    Very cool! Has a bit of a Pacific Rim Jager feel and color to it, I dig it!

      Thank you! It's interesting to have my work compared to something so complex, but I absolutely appreciate the comment!

    Ohh this was a delightful video! The process of sticking pieces together and finding what's cool was very fun to watch!
    I experienced the feeling of excitement when there were fitting parts that produced a further idea. And just by watching this. 😂

      Thank you! I'm glad I was able to convey the sense of intrigue and excitement while putting this together! Hopefully I'll be able to do the same in future videos for everyone!

    That’s actually a pretty great idea for a custom challenge.

      Thanks! I want to do another one, but sometimes finding a good bag of kit that isn’t a bunch of cars or similar can be difficult. I’m still looking though!

    Looks awesome. One suggestion, get some detail brushes for the smaller spaces. Less overstrokes and brush strokes.

      Thank you! As I’m still very new at hand painting I’m using a lot of “whatever I have laying about”. It works for the most part, but it’s still difficult to know what size brush to use in some areas. Just something I have to get better at with time. Of course, better equipment may also help.

      Thank you! I think it’s a great way to fuel the imagination and help get past those blocks to the normal processes!

    Interesting enough that I subscribe, so I can 'borrow' a few techniques for the dioramas I'm currently working on.

      Thank you! I hope you find my other content helpful and interesting as well! I think we all “borrow” from each other here on RUclips so you’re more than welcome to use whatever you find!

    What did you do with the kitty toy? 🤔

    • @encouragingthings
      @encouragingthings  Год назад +1

      Good eye! I originally wanted the face and whiskers, but the screws had crusted into place and without the correct driver I had to cut the head off. When I had to cut the whiskers off I could only use them for a Doctor Robotnic style mustache so I had to ditch them. Last was the tail as I was going to use it as an antenna to fill a screw hole in the shoulder but it looked like a tentacle! So unfortunately the kitty did not get used. But now I have a tentacle and mustache parts!
