Cool! Thank you for sharing. The birds brought me 6 or 7 of these via their droppings and I have been wanting to start transplanting them to better spots but I didn’t know much about the tree. Thank you very much. So thankful I got a bunch of these for free.

I’m in Ontario. We have so many of these in the woods of our farm. They are lovely.

Hey Joyce, such a good educational video on my favorite Dogwood. You described it perfectly. It also has berries that the birds like. Down here in North FL, our Cornus Florida don’t like the heat and this one is thriving...in the shade with organic soil, of course. Loved your happy plant talk. 👒 Kelly Tesiero, The Elegant Garden.

I’m in northern Maine and found a couple right near a local pond. I’m delighted, cuttings coming for sure!

I didn't realize these were deer resistant, I've got two that badly need planting up and been eyeing their placement in my landscape.

Are the fruit of the pagoda edible to humans?

A tree company planted a Cornus Cherokee Brave dogwood tree in my yard last July. It is a small new tree 5-6 tall. I watered it every day until late fall last year. I wrapped it before winter. Now I haven't seen any new leaves. Is there any problem? When does it leaf out in Northern Virginia? Weather is warm since April 13 (close to 70F). Thank you very much for your help.

"Up in the Canada region"! That's funny!

I wish it was funny but it is not. Just as dumb as : "warmer temperatures" eh... ?
Higher temperatures or lower temperatures , but: warmer weather / colder weather.

I am so afraid of deer rubbing my trees. It can totally destroy a young one
