I have an undercut, had it for about 6 months, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my AC unit! That's the way it feels when my hair is up. I dont want to grow it back, I'm thinking about installing my micro locs once I educate myself on the care and upkeep.
I wanna get an undercut when I get locs, because my nape area (3 back rows) is finner and fragile then the rest of my hair. And getting retwists will cause alot of tension and thinning in that area. And yes it will give an edger look.
I want an undercut! I have had my locs for 6 years and I am itching to switch it up but don't want to cut my hair off. I have seen undercut hairstyles look so nice, maybe I will get the courage to try it sometime soon. Great Video. It's even more of a push to do it.

How often do you cut your undercut? I'm nervous to get an undercut. It looks like a very cool hairstyle. Sleek, edgy and effortless but will I have to cut it every 2 weeks? Will the regrowth look bad? I think I would want to be able to maintain the undercut myself eventually.
I absolutely think you should learn to maintain it yourself! The expense adds up lol. When I didn’t have mine cut I would just leave my hair down. I probably maintained it the most in the summer. Once a month. Then in winter I would just do it every other month.

Thanks! I recommend it definitely. It's a subtle enough change that's fun to play with. It's one of those things you really have to act on impulse.
