Great New Orleans influence. He is an outstanding artist. Oscar and Grammy winner. Graduated from Juliard. Brilliant!

Yo, wasn't this such a bop?! Also much cred to Herbie Hancock for the original. You should check out more of Jon's music for that nice bend of nostalgia and modern bassy grooves that'll get your body moving. Let me know in the comments what you think about this record and what you think I should react to next! I'm getting into a new groove in my life but I promise I will have more stuff coming for you all! ❤️🥺🤟🏾🔥

This is great, Koji. I had already fallen in love with this and your informed observations (e.g. the bass and fantastic horns) made it even better. Will have to watch a few more times. Thanks. And the final shot of Jon with the open shirt, looking up, reminded me of Harry Belafonte - waaaaay before your time - but another voice for human rights and freeeeedom! Yes!

I appreciate you so much thank you for taking time out to listen! Wow yes I believe my grandmother used to play Harry Belafonte! The golden era of music truly! 😆

Batiste my brother you did yo thang on this song. My daughter Koji doing a reactions to your two songs is what turned me on to you. I have personally purchased your music because it reminds of my mother’s era. It gives that vibe of back in the day juke joints that I have seen in movies and my mother have told me about. Keep on putting out that great music 🎵❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE IT 😍

PTL Koji…beautiful name; thank you for sharing your knowledge. You confirmed his falsetto voice. I am 71, I discovered him on the Colbert Show; he is a genius, so are you! Are there other male singers; what do you call what they are doing?
