  • Four people were charged Wednesday with concealing a human corpse and tampering with evidence in connection with the discovery of body parts in parks on Long Island. The four suspects, Steven Brown, Jeffrey Mackey, Amanda Wallace and Alexis Nieves, all pleaded not guilty to hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence and concealing a human corpse and were released without bail. John Halverson, the attorney for Mackey, joins "Banfield" to discuss.

I don't know who's the bigger disappointment, the doofus that your interviewing or the fact that the suspects are not charged.
Talk to us when you have more than you could get from the newspaper. 🤨

haha, I thought the same thing.
Every time she asked this kid a question, he couldn't answer it. 😝
Other than his "other than" statement about how "safe" Amityville is? 🤔
      Yeah, _real_ safe. 🙄

This is the second News Nation report I've seen this week on Crime that has been a complete let-down. Another interviewer on the Madeline Soto murder being the other one. Take more time to do your job properly!

Yeah, there _has_ to be more to this story, of which Ashleigh Grace can't seem to find out?

“Boy I’m not getting anywhere.”… What did you expect Banfield? I’m surprised he said as much as he did.

And how about her asking the attorney what his clients said to him?
      Really, Ashleigh?!
Isn't the first thing a law student learns is to not speak to _anyone_ about what your client tells you?!

But that's all he _can_ tell her or us, rather. If he said anything else, he'd be in breach of his client's right to privacy.

@@Silence_Duder_Gooder yes but the joke is that he says he can’t say what his client has said and then literally says what his client has said lol

      @@ElleW18, yeah, I _get_ the "joke." 🙄
Maybe he should have phrased it better?
Something like, "In terms of the specifics of the case, I can't get into what my client said to me. But what I can tell you is that he told me he's not guilty."
In other words, most of us understood the inference.
Here's a joke for you, although it's somewhat cheesy.
*Q:* What did the Irish bartender say when both Bono and The Edge walked into his pub?
*A:* Oh no, not you two again.

They obviously chopped someone up and tried to get rid of em. And having the defendants lawyer on the show is pointless and is a waste of time. They always will say “I can’t say, I don’t know, they are not guilty.” Useless

Yeah, "other than" these two cases, Amityville is a "safe town."
Yeah, "other than these two cases." 😝
I bet they keep saying that as more bodies from more houses come to light.
_"'Other than' the fifteen cases we've seen in Amityville, it's still a small, quaint, safe beach community."_ 😝
