When painting fabric you should use 2soft or gac 900 and heat set it in order to keep it soft and supple. Now that ankle support is going to be stiff and crunchy.

Why not iron out the creases in the shoe before painting it? Also, for the fabric portion, would stain remover not have worked?
I dont think the fabric part was stained. It looked more like discolored...so white pigment was the solution.

They are leather, it will naturally crease where ur feet flex as you walk. Such is the nature of leather sadly.
