I see most people appreciate his voice and of course, no doubt, it's insanely good. The first thing I have noticed though after listening to the non-acoustic version so many times, that this acoustic version brings out other emotions that aren't emphasized in the other version. Pain and sadness, maybe tiredness due to frustration. It's not just raw because it's acoustic, but it's so much more melodic and the difference (I think it's the key) from a musical perspective, gives it this different notion. The studio version has so much more focus on the rage, anger and vibrant energy, while this one makes the song be seen from a different angle and is much more vulnerable. I can relate much more to this one, but have already loved the other one. Papa Roach have incredible talent when it comes to conveying emotions through music. Take away the powerful lyrics and you still feel SO much!
