I had to realize this is why I like "low maintenance" friendships 😂 & my friends know that about me. It's levels to friendships because we're all so different. it's okay to not be my closest, it's okay for me not to be your closest, but when we're together it's UP!!! Every time. 💗

See, I was on the reverse end. I was shown a multitude of reasons and situations where I needed to let go, and I held on for fear of change. Once I learned that I DESERVED BETTER, I let go. I also learned that my energy is important, and I need to be with like minded people.

Just beautiful! Had me texting all my real friends like "Hey I just wanted to say I love you sis!" Lol. Thank yall for sharing and encouraging real, authentic, genuine, unconditional, "show up for each other" friendships. I lost the best friend/sister I ever had to cancer and I miss her EVERY SINGLE DAY. Invest, value and cherish those relationships because It's truly rare to find those types of sisters/friends and it's a blessing when God sends them to you 🙌🏾🙏🏾

I know I can't be the only person who watches your videos over the years and not pick up on the fact that Brandy hasn't been around in a minute (also noticed that about Avery, but you already told us about that)! But I knew something was up for a while. Like you two say you got to talk it out, like in any friendship, if someone makes you feel uncomfortable talk it out, maybe it will work out, maybe it won't then lesson learned, no hate, just move on, such is life !! I fell I am similar to Brandi in a huge sense, however I can relate to what T is going through! After releasing 3 friendships over 15yrs, I’ve noticed how easy it is for me to let go and I need to work on that.
I’ve been through some fake friends too and as an adult, it’s scary. I see triggers popping up. I’m a EXTREMELY Low Maintenance Friend, and right now, I’m in a transitional season!!

My sister and I did not grow up together and because of life I ended up staying with her for the second time. The first time she kicked me and my son out and although we haven’t spoken on that that still bothers me. Anywho, we reach these point where it’s just weird with us. She’ll say slick stuff under her breathe towards me which pushes me away. And I wish she would just say what bothers her so that I can fix it instead of her getting into an attitude about it. I feel as though she feels a way when I leave all day but she wants to stay home so I just go about my day. I hate confrontation!!! So I overstand y’all! I’m ready to go to the shelter instead of talking it out with her.
Communication is KEY, never assume there wont be anything to gain from that conversation with her. Present it with love and you might be surprised! Wishing you all the best and hope everything works out better than expected ❤

I love love love it ❤️ it is so important to understand how you show up as a friend but also to know what you can’t/shouldn’t allow. I hope y’all friendship continues to grow and y’all continue to provide openness about the struggles that you have to overcome in a friendship.
I was vulnerable to my “best friend “ of 20+ years and me thinking I could go to my best friend and tell her how I was feeling about a situation between us, she straight dismissed my feelings and told me she wasn’t going to address it and I was blowing things out of proportion, I tried to hood on, but, eventually I let go and deleted her from my life. It wasn’t worth it to hold on and I can look back now and see that I’m better off and should’ve cut her off when she said that to me vs trying to hold on and mend the relationship.
Self evaluation is the key to loving oneself. I really enjoyed this vlog

You guys have a beautiful friendship I just got out of a toxic friendship in 2020 I got very sick and the energy drained me mentally and physically I was never the one to hurt anyone feelings but it was more about protecting her feelings instead of mine …but the moment the friendship ended door started opening g up for me and I got back being healthy my skin color was coming back and I released I deserved better than what I deserved ❤so I can relate to half of these conversations you guys are having about friendship this inspired hopefully I find a special friend like you guys so thank you for the video very inspiring ❤but I thank god everyday leaving a 13yr old friendship was hard but god had other plans for me

Friends don't intentionally do the things they do, and don't even realize it because people are so use to being told they're not a problem. So telling them might be the first time they've had to check themselves about it! It's a must, and I need to practice this myself cause I love to let time pass when I know I need to address some shit 😂

I think it’s only a Red Flag not to have friends if you never have. Otherwise sometimes you don’t because you had to take a step back from people you thought were your friends and focus on you and allow God to bring genuine loving people into your life.
