- A bit of forewarning, this was my first time welding. Cheap Knock off Akrapovič exhaust off eBay. It didn't come with the sticker it was advertised with which sucks

How did you remove bracket on pipe that attaches the original end can with the bolts?
This was a few years ago now but I'm pretty sure I just cut if off

Hey man, can you just weld the clips without welding the other part?
Hey, it depends if you have a bolt on or slip on exhaust already on the bike. The other part that we welded on was the slip on adapter that came with the exhaust, so in my case i needed to weld it on. I had to cut the stock muffler off because it was 1 solid pipe from header to muffler. Thanks for the comment

My original slip on uses bolts so there won't be any need to cut anything or to weld the adapter.. Can you tell me what kind of a weld is that? since I am gonna need to weld the U thingies.. Thanks :)
So you bought the same exhaust as mine i take it? As for the welder its just a cheap gasless mig welder and i think the wire was mild steel. It was my first time welding as you can probably see from the quality of it haha.
If the muffler is a snug fit i would just not bother with the spring clips, i would just slip in on and the exhaust hanger band thing will hold it in place. Pretty much doing the same thing the springs do.
@@HazzNJayza yes, I think it's exactly like yours.. Should arrive tomorrow so I will see how it goes. Avoiding welding would be the best 😅 anyway, I saw it was your first so.. Big like for that :) I'll let you know how it went!

Not great welder, need more gas. Don’t know why you hit it, mig doesn’t leave slag like ark does.
It was my first time welding when i made this video and it was just a gasless welder. :)
