I already break my own heart ruminating on hypothetical situations about my cat, I don't think I can manage a game like this without crying most of the way through.
I went through so many emotions watching this. From: the most beautiful game, to creepy AF, to I hate it cuz the dog might die, to I LOVE PUZZLES!!! to YESSS LETS Fn GOOOO!

absolutely georgeous n very intruiging game ! i wishlisted it right away, however, i will only purchase it when the reviews are out and they can 100% assure me that Neva will be fine all way to the credits role. as a dog parent, i couldnt handle it otherwise. my heart is too squishy x_x
Sorry for my English, is not my first language. Why is the intro hidden? They released it on May 2023 in the Playstation showcase. For a long time that cutscene was everything we got for Neva, no gameplay at all just that. The fact the devs chose that as reveal trailer has significance: they are proud of their animation and they want to share it with everyone, future Neva players or not. It has value even as just an animated short. For those who are interested, check the official *Nomada Studio* channel: *Neva | Reveal Trailer | Coming 2024*

Just ignore the glowing thing at 17:36. I know it is giving off the secret flower audio cue and hiding behind the black roots of the second face... I know Jesse said he had that attitude of "I'm getting this secret" earlier in the video... I know Jesse seems to completely ignore it after hitting the face and destroying the roots. But we can just also pretend we didn't notice it as one big family of goofs holding back the need to yell at our screens. :D
I am instantly sold. This is absolutely my kind of game. Video games are made for something like this, a story that can only be experienced through the medium.
I played Gris on Switch, and loved it so much that I was compelled to buy it again on Steam, and also paid extra for the soundtrack that second time. I need a release date for this game so I can throw even more money at these devs
There is a dash. There is swordplay. There is an interactive companion. There is emotional manipulation. With all due respect, it's only "just jumping" at for most of the intro. Granted, that intro is over ten minutes long but that's a mere quarter of this vid. Not mad, just sharing incase you judged things too soon.
