Yamaha 9.9 4 Stroke Outboard Motor - Unboxing & First Run. It was finally time to upgrade to a new and slightly more powerful outboard motor. My previous outboard, the Johnson 6hp 2 stroke has served me well over the last few years as you can see in my other videos but wasn't quite powerful enough when taking passengers out or in rougher conditions. This should hopefully do the job. More videos to follow as I test it on open water over the next few weeks.

Run in period:
1st Hour: In water, in gear, varying speeds up to half throttle.
2nd Hour: In water, in gear, varying speeds avoiding full throttle.
Next 8 Hours: In water, in gear, any speed but using full throttle for no more than 5 minutes at a time.
After 10 Hours: Operate Normally.
