    Thank you for sharing how you did this. Sadly, I put in the liver too early. Thought the five washings was enough so my congee was a bit brown. Still it tasted great and the liver had that great soft texture i was trying to replicate from a restaurant.
    I see why the cooking time of the liver is pretty long. When the congee is already thick it will cook the liver slowly and you have to be constantly stirring. Took a while till it finally looked good to eat.

    cooking pork liver 15 min is way to long, I'm sure it's overcooked

    No soy sauce, and definitely not 15 mins.
