I've heard this song for the first time about 10 years ago. I wasn't sure what is she singing about, but it touched me very very deeply. 4 years ago, 4.4.2018 I gave birth to my son Luchi Antoni who was here 9 days. Than I received several signs (I believe from him) that I should do the camino de Santiago. I didn't make it there, I did just half the pilgrimage to San Esteban de Leces - where I ended just yesterday 28.8.2022. But something amazing happened on the way - in Santillana del Mar monastery lovely young Catalan girl Nuria was playing guitar and singing this song!! I cried and cried and cried and 10 years later understood what the song was about. It was painful and liberating at the same time. Thank you universe for this beautiful experience and Bebe for this song. Puro amor!!!🙏🏼💖

She had a miscarriage that’s why in the lyrics she says her little body became a river (blood streamed out of her) and the flower that grows inside her was the baby and when she opens her eyes a little hoping the baby is still inside her but it’s not but she will never forget.
I have been listening to this song daily for the last two years and only this song of her because this is so beautiful that I was scared to listen to her other songs not to ruin this one. In addition, I also was scared to see her video as well because you know when you listen to someone you begin to draw her/him in your mind but I should point that she is so close to my mind-drawing. Last but not least I also dont read the translation of lyrics because doing that puts you into a cage since you know what the singer says and you are not free to feel what that song reminds you and thus I am so sad right now not only because I learned the meaning of the song but also for the fact that she lost her child when she was pregnant, so sad. But on the bright side, good art is created in difficult times which is the case for this song.

Dec 2019 is the first time i am watching this video and actually seeing who is Bebe. I have been listening to this song for the last 3 years ever since I stumbled upon it from time to time. I keep coming back to it somehow. This is the RUclips link I always listened to and I didn't even know if the woman in the picture was Bebe and I did not even want to find out. I have never even heard any other songs by Bebe, just this one, just for the magic of her voice in it. Like some coveted treasure I had. I have recently got into Latin dancing a little bit and I made my dance partner listen to this song and turned out she knew other songs by Bebe but this is still stuck with me. I am from India and now live in the USA and do not understand Spanish but what a voice. I don't know her or her story or anything about her and I will keep it that way. Thank you! :)
