Queen of the Murder scene is a masterpiece concept Album. Every song is a perfect piece of the puzzle of the story. To think three teenage girls wrote this. They are fantastic.
This is part of _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ a concept album that tells of a girl who goes from love to obsession, stalking, murder, and then the real battle - against her evil side for her soul. 'Crimson Queen' tells us that the Queen has a love interest who doesn't even know she exists. Her feelings are intense and overwhelming her. Innocent enough, so far. That will change. 'Dust to Dust' is the intro, which you should do, and it features Pau singing lead while drumming. Then 'Ugh' is the next song after 'Crimson Queen'.
This is one of my favorite songs. So much passion as you said. I love their rockers, but their ballads are so good that I don't even skip them when listening to their albums, like I sometimes do with other bands ballads. Oh and by the way, I like your tee-shirt. I think just about any live performance from Lunario CDMX or the Whiskey a Go Go are great for the songs from their first two albums.
Hi Jimmy! I saw them live twice in May. They are indescribable live. I had high expectations before seeing them live and they exceeded all expectations. Queen of the Murder Scene is a masterpiece, but to see them perform it live is mesmerizing! Future Legends!
Dany leaves it all on stage I always liked The Warning but this performance took me through a rabbit hole that Watership Down could only dream of. Our Crimson Queen 🤘🫶🤘
And just think. This was song #3 of 18 that night. The girls usually don't get warmed up by the 4th or. 5th song. At Lunario. The Warning played *Queen of the Murder Scene* album in chronological order. But song #2, #6, #10, #14 & #18 (encore) were songs from their previous *(XXI Century Blood)*.album they played. Just letting you know if you decide to do the concert.
Great reaction to a great Dany song. Another side to The Warning that just cements their talents is undoubted. Not just hard beats with melodic riffs but stripped down raw passionate and emotional songs. This concert is a benchmark for many TWA fans as Dany's performances encapsulates the whole album. It was The Warning's version of Broadway. Great reaction and cannot wait for a full album reaction. I know you will be amazed as you will forget that this concept album was written by teenaged girls. Queen of the Murder Scene and this debut concert for the album was sort of the gold standard for their live shows at the time (this was 2018). There's probably better versions of some of the songs out there (vocally), but this whole show was magic! When you consider they were playing and singing at high altitude (7200 ft. or so in Mexico City), they were sort of straining to make it come out loud enough. Anyone that's played anywhere above 5000 ft. or so will know what I'm talking about.😉 I see the rest of the Warning Army clued you in on the playlist order, etc., so have fun with it! You won't regret it.😄
