@@NickyD who forced the Walt Disney Company to close Walt Disney World? Desantis? He just closed bars and restaurants plus the beaches this past week, WDW closed before that. Seems like a lifetime ago since I've been in a restaurant or bar but my state only ordered them closed on the 15th. We are now in lockdown because of idiots who wouldn't comply with social distance order on the 10th.
@@NickyD "people in florida arent taking it seriously" All those people still out there partying are spring breakers, all us residents have been staying inside for the past week, only going outside for grocery needs.
Always thoroughly enjoy these drive videos! Of course it's sad to see it so empty but here's hoping all of this will be over/contained sooner rather than later.
That is so eerie!!!! We were there I think 3wks before they shut the doors and it was so busy!!! Can’t wait for all these to go away and everyone comes out healthier and stronger than ever!!!
Yep seeing it is very eerie to see Disney looking empty like this. They kept the tourist industry and the economy going. And as well as all the funspots and Universal Studios they kept the economy going as well.
Nice video! Very sad to see this magical place closed, even though it’s temporary. Looking forward to eventually going back to WDW, but will wait til society is back to our old normal.
Omg! No joke, I did this with Disneyland 2 days ago! I was so bored I had to get out. I drove all the way down to Disneyland by myself and just drove around the parking structure and lots and hotels. It was actually kinda fun
Thank you so much for this video. It has been very hard for me to visualize after the announcement of closure of WDW. Through my life I have watched the crowds keep growing to unbelievable levels. The last few months of 2019 were very worrisome for me as I saw the difference in cleanliness and upkeep deteriorate. It was Bob Chapek's fault not the castmembers. I am glad the parks are closed to protect the health of castmembers. And the guests since they forget that reality still occurs in a Disney Park. May we all heed the orders of our local and state officials while this virus affects us all. We will enjoy our days again and hopefully without too long of time to endure the economic damage. Stay safe, stay strong.

ITS LIKE IM REALLY THERE! The air conditioned bus was the best ride with the ONLY DAMN line under 3 hours. And it only cost me 8 grand to take my family there for 3 days......YAY!... I HOPE DISNEY BECOMES A LESSON FOR DECADES TO COME ON HOW TO RUIN A DYNASTY.
Michael Kenney sounds like you need a travel agent... I could help you do 3 days for a lot less than 8 grand... and few rides are 3 hours waits. Have you even been to Disney world?
Well maybe they will realize greed has it,s consequences. There prices have gone out of site ,that a low class family is unable to afford it.And as far as the fast passes are concerned, a joke I feel sorry for the workers who are out of a job, but the whole world is suffering. When will people realize what God.s word means2nd Chronicles, chapter 7 verse14.
Sylvia Summons this is a very negative, uninformed comment. As a travel planner I have helped hundreds of families make all kind of awesome memories at Disney parks and many of them have been lower to middle class families. And when you know how to use fast passes correctly, they work quite well! And 2 Chron 7:14 really has nothing to do with Disney pricing, so it’s a very odd non sequiter
Also, it is affordable if you save up for it. One 3 day Florida resident ticket is 175$ 180.00 with tax. If you have 4 family members put away 190.00 a week until you have enough for all 4 tickets. Afterwards put away $300.00 at most to spend in the park for food and drinks and get a hotel through Priceline .. every thing is affordable if you know how to budget it
It blows my mind watching this... it's like the apocalypse
As apocalyptic as what: Divergent or Hunger Games? What do you think?
I was there literally seven days ago and it was jammed. What a difference!
I'm hoping to come here in June this year and hopefully they'll be open by then.
That's okay, maybe July or August perhaps (thanks for the reply though).
My trip was scheduled in April. With the daily numbers I see from Florida Department of Health, I know that's not happening.
I am glad to see that people are taking this seriously
only because disney was forced closed if they didnt close it would still be packed people in florida arent taking it serously either

Holy crap it’s like a ghost town at Disney world.

I just left pop century on the 20th. We were literally the only people left at the resort. It was a complete ghost town. These are very scary times.

Very pretty drive. Thank you.
That must have felt quite eerie driving through Disney when it's like that?
Nice weather !
No skyliners out! Yikes...
Watching this, I can imagine a quick pan to Rod Serling standing on the side of the road.

I bet the cast members have made a right decision to keep the parks shut until the end of the month
I still remember him from the jaws video!
I bet u were shocked about seeing nobody in the theme parks just u at the theme park
I see it with my own eyes(through yours) but it’s unbelievable. But needed for now. Thank you fir this I’ve been wondering what it must be like.

I'm going there on July 30th
Wow!!!!!
How long is the Disney world is going to be closed in Orlando Florida
They said March 31st but who knows, it could change
It's such a ghost town idk how you kept yourself from running red lights
Wow it’s like the end of the world! Lol
I cant watch it makes me cry
What did you use to film this? The wide-angle lens is just enough without it looking like a fisheye. Regular dash cam?
This is so sad 😢
It's more like flying through a empty Wally Disney world. LOL. Just saying!
It must be the end of the World ! WOW ! !
😭😭😭 NOOO

You can put all the blame for negative changes on Bob Chapek's head @WDW but not your poor planning.
Covid 19

Disney is still paying their employees during this
