    When you're doing Doe management, don't forget to do this for your dog 🥰 take a whole on the Bone Hind Quarter and put it in a pan in the Oven at 200 degrees for 12 hours. Not covered, just cooked. Let cool 30--45. I freeze plenty, let by dog clean up the bones. She's a deer tracker, so I think it's important that she shares in the spoils. 😊 Hope you all try it.

      Don't cook bones for your dog. They splinter

    Wow now a day some people literally carries a tape measure in the woods with you, I'm not putting anyone down or trying to disrespect anyone either, but it's kinda sad to see just how far away from what we have gotten from our roots as hunters 😢

      the main beams, width, and g2s are over 100” before you even start to measure anything else. I bet you’ve never even killed a doe to make it to 100lbs let alone how to know what a buck would score

      @@Josh-mn3kw I don’t know if I’m unbelievably skilled, but I am unbelievably disciplined. I don’t take risky or long shots. If the shot isn’t good, I don’t take it, regardless of the animals size.

    • @Josh-mn3kw
      @Josh-mn3kw 4 месяца назад +1

      @traphuntnstuff8096 Where did your other comment go? Doesn't really matter, I guess. Either way, there isn't a hunter alive today (a real one) with a few years of hunting under their belt who hasn't accidentally taken a bad shot. Discipline aside, you will make an unethical shot someday. Maybe they were quartering away a little more than you thought. Maybe one of a dozen other things happened, and your deer wanders off wounded.
      I don't agree with frontal shots. There is too much that can go wrong for my liking. But if someone is confident with their gear and their accuracy to take a shot that some of us wouldn't, it's their call. They have to live with the consequences if the shot fails. It doesn't give you the right to be a d1ck about it.
      However, I'll agree with you from the comment you deleted that "did they die" is a shitty mentality.
