    This vid's from about 1988 or 89. Christopher Mayhew was a Labour Party Member of Parliament who took mescaline as an experiement to see its effects (back in the days when society was a little more open minded about some drugs). He is sampled saying, ''And there's no absolute time, no absolute space, this is just what we experience, on the outside world.'' He said he thought the trip went on for ''years and years''. This was before the UK made mescaline illegal in 1968 .

    I believe he was actually a Tory MP. Bought this when it came out and loved it.. being 30 years older now I can see it's a dizzying psychedelic pop record where the available technology was used to maximum effect and it achieved all it set out to do. it's a pretty much unique record from that era. Nobody was on it. The Shamen were.
