No doubt. The drummer and bassist are monsters! (that means good). I especially loved the keyboardist' choice to use the vocal patch. SOOO cool. And his soloing was FULLY up to the challenge. A few of those runs were just beautiful (in their perfect dominant funkiness). Thanks for letting me watch Oh man.
Such unique solos, what a great jam! The keyboardists soloing with voice patch really caught me off guard, in a good way. Thanks for the inspiration :)
Man yall just tore a studio up !!!!!!!! in a good way and Mr. Curtis Harmon you are great on drums I add you to the list of my favorite drummers, which includes Billy Cobham, Steve Ferrone, and Harvey Mason Sr., as with these guys your timing and skills are impeccable.
4:53 that F# Gerard Gibbs continues the romp in outer space. Also love whatever effect he used that sounds like his own voice scatting. Great jam guys!
I want to buy this episode so badly!! But i cant by in the website, dont recognize any zip code of the USA. Please @studiojams , help this is my favorite episode
Well, if I wasn't so much into jazz I wouldn't like this, sound so unnatural and esoteric for me, even though it is played in a awesome play. I've heard the Caribbean Jazz Project version before, less groovy but the intro was more catchy. :P
more people need to play music...i think the world would be a much happier place!
People don't have to say it... they can feel it. Oh hi Mark
Absolutely
hallelujah! :)
One of the tastiest StudioJam sessions i've seen !
Ya gotta love when a guitar player actually understands phrasing. Daaaaamn.
isoptope invitation
Gil Parris is one of my favorite guitarist to ever live, straight up amazing

@SmelMyFinger A BIG THANK YOU ! (For me...that's what it's all about)
I want to buy this episode so badly!! But i cant by in the website, dont recognize any zip code of the USA.
Please @studiojams , help this is my favorite episode
nice moment! tkx
Holy shit!
i like the contrast between the synthesizer and an absolutely classic tone of the guitar. one would think that should not work.
yeah ive heard that keyboard effect before and messed with it a little, but never in a funky song like that. It sounds GREAT!
That's one stank grooooove!
BUUU-freakin-YA!

Lindo parabéns
The Isopte quote! Gil Parris
Who is that keyboardist?? Love the way he "bent it" at at the bridge around 5:30...
Just saw his name (I was only listening to the audio originally). Gerard Gibbs!
@deepfriedpankakes It's an Artinger Guitar.
5:48~ is the best idea kb solo
Man this is jazz.. Duke Ellington would have liked. The band is excellent and the keyboard solo is so great. These guys are on fire...
A m a z i n g ! ! ! ! !

Meanwhile in an alternate universe this is going down ...
Good stuff.
great groovy bass drums!! i could just hear these two locomotives only!! good job for soloists too! Not Ez for them
@kokid03 Man that was the coolest solo i ever heard in many years...
Who is the bassist? There are some funky licks in there...
Andy Bradley that's Bennie Sims from Reading PA. on bass
Anyone know what kind of bass that is? Looks like a Warrior headstock, Lane Poor pickups, ???
Dave lewis custom Bass
Hot stuff!!
BENNIE SIMS on BASS.
Why'd you cut it in there :(
Well, if I wasn't so much into jazz I wouldn't like this, sound so unnatural and esoteric for me, even though it is played in a awesome play. I've heard the Caribbean Jazz Project version before, less groovy but the intro was more catchy. :P
what kind of guitar?
THAT SAX SOLO.
OH GOD
(I don't even believe in a god.)
DOOT DOOT DAT DAT
2:46.....Lmao camera smash.
Sounds like Primus!
hes doing it on keyboard LOL
I agree- honestly most jazz guitarists annoy me because they're too 'pillowy'- not enough grit/tone/feeling.
That tenor solo was bad!
