The beginning of the intro you play the riff and then when your finish you hear the riff in the background while you play the chorus. What equip is that? I need to know.
Im a little late and someone has probably already asked this but. What effects did you use for this? I can hear reverb, a slight delay and also tremolo (maybe)?
Another thing to put in the "reasons to get an e-guitar" list (I've been playing on an acoustic guitar for about 7 years and I'm considering getting an e-guitar, should I?)
Hey! Thanks for your comment. Definitely have an electric along side an acoustic is a good choice. Too have one of each. Once you can play one guitar you can play them both. They are both tuned the exact same way! And you can get some decent electrics for a fair price!
No friend, there is no dm7 the first chord is a Dmaj7, and the 2nd chord you’re referring too is a Bmin7 chord, the notes contained in the chord are B, D, F#, A. It’s not an F#m7 chord, I’ve transcribed it from both studio versions and live versions the progression is a I-vi-ii-V. The chord progression is accurate. Cheers, -JH
@@JustinHatt1 ah right i meant to write dmaj7, and it seems you are correct that its a bmin7. I learned it by ear and made a mistake when learning it. I just used a tuner to figure out the notes just now. Sorry for the trouble
No worries friend! Just here to help out! I always learn them by ear, and I always make sure I know how to play the song 100 percent accurately before I post a lesson on it. My goal is to never teach a song wrong! Happy playing!!

The chords sounds so familiar to Pier cafe from Harmless
The beginning of the intro you play the riff and then when your finish you hear the riff in the background while you play the chorus. What equip is that? I need to know.

Is this a good first song for a beginner?
It has some tricky spots, but with due practice you got it!
pls do the part where the song ends where the whole new vibe come in
What part are you referring too. I must be unfamiliar, I’ve never heard an ending section.
I tuned to exactly d major and it sounds not even close to this? How is that even possible? Is your tuning different?
It’s in standard tuning homie
Im a little late and someone has probably already asked this but. What effects did you use for this? I can hear reverb, a slight delay and also tremolo (maybe)?
Only reverb boss RV- 6 pedal.
how u get that guitar tho . well how do u get a dreampop tone
Reverb, a little chorus, and a little delay!
Please do monkey bread by novacane
I’ll give it a listen.
@@JustinHatt1 I didn’t know you would have seen that, all I’ll say is that you’re awesome 👏

this may be a stupid question, but whats the guitar tuned to ?
Not a stupid question! And standard tuning friend!
@@JustinHatt1 you said d major?
wats the strumming pattern?
I think of typical pop strumming. DDU-UDD. Hope that helps!
How do I get the high e on dmaj7
Adjust your wrist position, and hand position
who is Nova Cation? lol
Is my pronunciation bad?
@@JustinHatt1 you're good man I'm just trolling lol although your accent definitely caught me by surprise
heard that too lol
the 2nd chord after dm7 is actually f#m
