Nice profile my man, I’m all about hearing other peoples opinions on the deck. Sea Stealth Attack I’ve always played as a 1 due it being the 1st Spell/Trap I always search. I’m going to test it at 2. You definitely gave me some ideas to bounce around so I appreciate everything you’ve cooked up.
i play 2 copies. i think it's good at 2, because you never want to draw 2 copies but if you start with kairyu and sea stealth attack in the hand, you can search for dark reef instead of sea stealth attack. Tbh i think 3 copies is too much :(
@Luca Preti I just love seeing sea stealth attack. It's one less thing I have to worry about turn one just being able to protect my floodgates and monster, but two is really good and I feel is optimal as well.
nice profile! started playing a similar deck in master duel and decided I wanna get into irl again so this is what I'm gonna stick with. have a box of duels from the deep coming to see if I can pull some of the big stuff before I start buying singles. Will definitely be coming back to this a lot !
nice deck, even if i don't like the tcboo in main deck. I tried them but against tear, spright (it could be strong sometimes) and branded bystial (pretty popular at my local) are useless. i switched them with 2 evenly matched, just to get more board breaker if i start second, and i play 2 dimensional fissure. I'm agreed with the foolish goods, i need to search the third now😂 Necrovalley+metaverse could be a good option in the side deck, if you have on the field sea stealth II you don't need the field spell. also the solemn judgements are very strong in this deck, they saved me a lot of times. Summon limit is great, i'll definetely try it
Thanks for the input ! I do like necrovalley thinking about it now. I like TCBOO because somehow I always manage to win the die roll and it's really good against sprights from their first thunder summon. I don't really like the bystials because I just don't own them. I really am thinking of the necrovalley in the side board though with metaverse. Doesn't sound half bad. Judgment is a must side and really need to look for cards to replace for it. Thanks for the comment !
@@puzzledwhale2376 thanks for your answer, I'm glad that you like necrovalley. I play 3 tcboo in the side because I usually lose the dice🙃 I play 2 ttt in the main for this reason
Great profile. I have this deck in real life and agree with most of it. I'm more budget then you tho so I run extravagance over prosperity and do have a bigger extra deck as a result. I also run terraforming and the extra sea stealth 2 over warrior of Atlantis.
Hey man, why don't you play Giga Gagagigo as its a reptile normal monster with more atk and same level and gozen match instead of there can only be one? (situational) But nice deck profile, am loving it!
Your build is incredibly similar to mine in many ways. A floodgate I highly reccomend for the deck is prohibition because calling the opponents Havnis or Kitkallos is always a good time
Love the profile man! I've been playing this deck almost exclusively on Master Duel, so I decided to get it for the TCG. One thing I've noticed is that Maiden of the Aqua is a bit of a dead card. It might really depend on each individual local's scene, but in mine, field spells are super common. Instead, I play General Raiho of the Ice Barrier. It is a warrior, so you can get it from Mega Fortress, and it's effect works wonders when executed correctly, as sometimes it stops my opponent from activating their monster effects at all, either bc they don't want to lose cards in hand or simply because they can't pay the cost. I would suggest you try it if you can. It's a really cheap card, and it synergizes very well with the rest of the deck.
Nice video , I appreciated the thoughts on why you are playing each card, I’ve watched it fully even tho it’s past 4 am I’ve been also keep asking myself why barelyugioh was playing around with a low count of sea stealths and at least I’m not the only one. I’ll also leave my thoughts on some cards like warrior of atlantis He’s really good and has some advantages like being a 1900 (2100 under LO) and being a water monster ( sometimes it could come up in weird situations with jelly) but you said that Barely only plays 1 WELL it’s true but he ( and i am too atm) 1 warrior of atl. And 1 terraforming ( I didn’t see it the profile, if i missed it out my bad ) The advantage of terraforming over warrior is that you can’t search under shifter and neither under fissure, which is very strong even in the main deck Umi lock + fissure with even a sea stealth to cover it could be gg for a lot of decks You’re not even playing (fissure and ) skull mariner or any warrior so not even care when the whale dies Also I don’t like to play mariner too, it feels kinda weak when summoning it on t1 with sonar Like yeah she’s standing there menacingly but that’s it And yeah definitely get a copy of giga gagagigo cause it’s both beefier than salmon AND is a reptile so works even better under tcboo The last thing i think i want to say is that I’d try tcboo out for sure, the only thing I don’t like about it’s the fact that under it, I can’t bring jelly + maiden But I’ll test it out tomorrow I’m still in love with the idea of playing mithra tho What do you think about it? I’d love to talk more about this deck even in private on Telegram/discord, let me know and again , great video!
Hahaha, I watch almost all of barelyYGO's stuff and I just had to make a profile on my own. Thank you for watching the video, friend. As for your thoughts: I think the 1 Warrior of Atlantis and 1 Terraforming is a good call, did not really think of it. I do not play Terraforming because I find myself always having access to LO/UMI turn 1 (Also, I like the ultis XD) Umi Lock + D Fissure is actually super nutty and AT LEAST worth a side deck. I have to order myself a playset because I kind of completely forgot about it. Even so, I probably would not main it because I feel like this deck already has a good game 1 against most of the meta. As for TCBOO, Giga Gagagio is really good and I do have to get myself a copy of it, that being said, Summon Limit is also SUPER STRONG and I don't know which one I like more since I can still go off with Dark Reef under Summon limit since it counts as 1 summon. Miithra is a fun little tech, but honestly in testing I just found it being underwhelming. The Ojama Trio/Duo I believe is just superior, especially on my opponents turn. One of those and a Kairyu-Shin + Dark reef is GG next turn with mega fortress whale.
What's the thoughts on running a kaiju that ISNT a water and perhaps running it even at 2. I understand it won't be searchable but they will not be able to summon anything whatsoever. It also won't be buffed by a legendary ocean. Gamaciel when playing against kashtira was not the one.
I don't know for me the deck feels too inherently weak to go all in on consistency, I cut a kaiju, a SS2, a foolish, a SSA, and a Ice barrier. In those 5spots I run 2x gozen, 2x summon limit and a extravagance (Kaiju: only running one ice barrier and want to go all in on turn 1, floodgate here)(SS2: does nothing when you first activate by itself, it inherently needs other cards to do anything, better dig with an extrav)(Foolish, clogs hand at 3 and I'm only playing one ice barrier, floodgate here)(SSA already search it, drawing multiples bad, floodgate here) (Ice barrier, good surprise but playing only one low chance to draw it, floodgate here) also cut a warrior for a terraforming is harder to stop
If he has kairyu on board and the opponent has a monster that is not water , he cannot attempt to kaiju with say Kumongus. Gameciel is always able to since it’s water
It's searchable. If you use Foolish Burial Goods to dump Ice Barrier, Ice Barrier can dump any level 5 or higher water and than add any water from grave. Normally you use this to grab Kairyu-Shin, but the water Kaiju is a level 8 water so you can search and grab that instead if needed. And if you're running the shark package, 3 Abyss Shark and 1 Crystal Shark, you can also use Foolish Ice Barrier combo to grab Abyss Shark, which is basically a free Toadally Awesome. Personally I run 2 Foolish and 2 Ice Barrier, I think it's a really good number since both are hard once per turn and drawing 2 copies of Foolish Goods is a feels bad.
