Seeing this in person in 2016 brought tears my eyes as it back then as it did in this video I feel a change coming with Marcus Freeman a change not felt since holtz took over a coach who can take the team back where they were. Among the best if not the best in the country
It was the first time Georgia has been in South Bend since 1980. The ND season ticket holders sold their tickets. The whole stadium was red. It was a Georgia home game. It was my first time there too, it was a bummer. Why did they sell their tickets you ask? Here’s why. I looked up how much tickets in our section we’re going for. I could’ve sold our two tickets for $800. The ND fans sold out, but it’s tough to say no to that kind of money I guess?
@@nepapickleball4719 I think part of the reason so many ND fans sold their tickets was were coming off a 4-8 season. UGA was only the second game of the BK reinvention.
@@lawrencedockery9032 I talked to the people that sold the tickets. That’s was the reason lol. They couldn’t pass up the money. They would sell out the stadium even if they were 0-11
@@nepapickleball4719 Normally I would agree that we would sell out every game even if we went winless (we sold out through 3-9 in 2007 and 4-8 in 2016). But we saw our sellout streak end in the middle of an 11-2 season in 2019, and that's with 3,000 fewer seats in there now than there were four years ago)

Some kelly green in there lol but I live deep in crimson country and they have been given another thing to bring up when talking,in loud volumes lol,, to those red team fans and being constantly reminded that we haven't brought home the natty since 88.
