This was so much fun to record 😂
sondrals intervalls at the 5k were missing in my opinion 😂
Very true! Maybe we need to make a 2.0 :) (did it actually work?)
@@thorupviktor No! It didnt work... but he tried at least :)
Ok, a list of weird skater technique without Gunda Neiman’s wierd upper body swerve- Like Chad, so ugly to watch, but really effective.. The weird thing is I recall seeing the other German distance women getting her weird habits…
Worthy of mention, if you find Eric Heiden’s 500m from Lake Placid, the Russian he was paired with, had just wild windmilling high tempo technique.. Perfect technique for bad ice outdoors…. Especially compared to Heiden’s superlative power..
Also Mitch I know you were there for that genius junior skating doing the right hand crossover into a left hand crossover, after almost missing the lane change.. I’ve never seen brilliance like that… it was so smooth…
Takuro Ogawa @ four continents 2019. 1 of the first no Arms 5km I had seen bar the last 2 laps. That's not really much to right home about apart from a particular isu commentator saying Chris Huizinga was the first. I digress, look at his corners after the first points laps when he goes for the breakaway. I remembered skating behind him few times in warm thinking.... this is different. But interesting
We did really consider throwing that one in there too! A Russian did a sub 1.10 1000m both arms on the back all the way 🤯
@@thorupviktor Kuznetsov should have been in this list.
Hilarious!🎉
Kawahara
Gunda Niemann😂
what about Cindy Klassen, or gunda niemann-stirnemann
