The colour "ultramarine" is so called because the pigment came from Ultramar. Well, Outremer, the French name for "the lands beyond the sea", especially the Crusader states, there are spelling changes as words move fron language to language. In the case of the pigment, it was ground-up Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan. The whole thing about Ultramarines and Ultramar sounded a whole lot more reasonable when I learned this.
I love the Ultramarines and Bobby G is the best Primarchs. I’m beyond tired of the writers using big G as punching bag with his brothers. I don’t think he ever actually won a fight without some sort of intervention that saves him, he can ‘itch slap astartes and aliens all day long but if he gets near one of his brothers, he gets soundly beaten. I need that epic moment of him actually winning.

No Primarch had/has more of the "Common-Sense Superpower" than the Khagan.
Guilliman has the one thing almost no Primmarch had, a loving family with a great upbringing
