Wow. I have a horrible mind but this is fantastic. His sinuses all filled with blood behind the eyes. Everything about this is painful. God bless the Punisher. Such a great character.
This right here. THIS is the Punisher. THIS is why people love him in real life and villains in comics and t.v fear the shit out of him. He is rage and hatred incarnate.
I was actually worried he was going to die when Frank pulled the knife out of his throat, tbh. Call me a sadistic fuck, but I'm glad he lasted long enough for the eye-gouge.

eddie gordo no problem mate, happy to help :) i would say though give it 5 episodes cause its a slow start but once the badguy gets some more screentime im sure you will like it. he's a fucked up pycho like billy russo in the punisher. agreed its a terrific show!!! its in the top 2-3 best netflix shows for me. im sad we will have to wait a LONG while for season 2, probably 1-2 years :(
For me, this was the best scene ever made in any tv series! so much emotions, soo much satisfaction! The music, the shooting, stress and brutality. God..i'm speechless
@@iamtheyeti6663 Yes exactly, the cinematography was top notch, as was everything else! Those really showed the impact of those punches; Rawlins couldn't even utter a sound, choking on his blood, broken his jaw and getting his eyes gouged out... DAMN!
My favorite part about this show was "okay we're going to have a guy get his eyes gouged out, is that okay Disney?" "yeah sure" "can we show a female nipple" "WHAT! NO! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
Nostophod yeah I'll def check it out, been seeing comments I. Other videos how punisher beats hulk & other guys in an alternate universe or something like that. Now I have to see this. With no powers
@ Gaming Fusion @ hyle Its been awhile since I read Punisher MAX but he was in at least 2 or 3 stories. He was a CIA spy and he had an ex wife, O'Brien, who he pushed off a copter to the Taliban on their "honeymoon" to protect a heroin shipment and was repeatedly raped before she was rescued. That wife later teamed up with Punisher (even had a kid with him) and they tried to take down Rawlins and his partners, costing her life in the middle of the desert, she wanted Frank to promise two things. She wanted him to be there so she won't die alone and she wanted him to hunt down Rawlins. Punisher just offed Rawlins in an airport bathroom, kinda like the one he did in the beginning of this season.
Frank broke the savage meter. When I first saw this episode I was like how is Frank gonna match that level of punishment after what was being done to him throughout this episode then when this happened I was like "Shit! This man really is the Punisher."
I loved all the flashbacks that Frank had. I think his dead wife represents the temptation of death for Frank. His wife (who is death) metaphorically seduces Frank into just giving up the will to live. The idea of finally being put to rest is appealing to Frank but when he lets go of her hand he tells her “I am home” he reminds himself that there is still unfinished business. His motivation is driven to the extreme. I just think the whole dead wife temptation thing is really neat for story telling
Really? I've never read Punisher but read a lot of Lobo and can't imagine anything can be more fucked up than him. C'mon guys. Dude murdered his entire planet during high school years.
I'm convinced this scene is a nod to 28 days later. The acoustic song in the background sounds eerily similar and the way he's covered in blood like a maniac and shoves his thumbs in his eye sockets.
Kinda interesting that at 1:14 Frank looks up at Billy for approval. Almost like "is this enough brutality for you? Cool." Nice little touch that even though he hates Russo's guts, he still wants to make sure he gets satisfactory justice. Nice little mirror to Billy clipping his restraints earlier.
I kinda saw it as a really confused mix of both, which is why when Billy nods Frank looks away quickly - then he kills Rawlins in as brutal a fashion as possible by the whole eye gouging thing. Like catharsis, about how Billy let him down - which I think might be why it sounds like he's cry screaming at the end.
Jon Bernthal is The Punisher. He brings a level of intensity that nobody has ever been able to bring to the character. The show is awesome but its ashame that the show is being attack by liberal critics over crap the show has nothing to do with such as the recent mass shooting. Had this show came out in 70s-90s it would have gotten the love and respect it deserves. Movies like like Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, French Connection and many other movies in the past have gotten.
Most importantly the whole show is against the irresponsible use of guns, the corruption of government official and the cruelty veterans had to live through only to return back home and be hated somehow. I can't believe of how hypocritical the world turns out to be. They hate on a show with many hard and truthful views on our society and on the same time delivering on every aspect of the human drama and heart, because of their political agendas. I was brought on the verge of tears because of Punisher's humane moments and because again and again and again the same powerwhores used and tortured the man, bringing him back.
This show went above some people's heads and the leftist today are bitter that there girl Hilary didn't win. Right now, the leftist are doing everything in their power to bash anything that doesn't follow their political views to stay relevant. They will learn the hard way. I truly wish this show came out in the 70s - 90s. Again I believe this show would have gotten better review overall with complex storytelling, its humane approach to a damaged war hero/man like The Punisher, the solid acting, direction, ptsd and action scenes. The only difference is it would have to focus on the Vietnam War instead of today's wars if this show came out in the 70s - 90s era of Hollywood which would have been awesome as there is alot of material to work with when exploring the Vietnam War.
I'm neither a liberal nor a conservative. I'm a nationalist and I'm angry at both Trump and Hillary, because they are both Zionist crooks serving big corporate interests and the military-industrial complex; if you can't see that shit, then you're a lost cause. I love this show, because it criticizes the very forces that are at work presently. I'm surprised it hasn't been censored or taken down yet, because of the plotline.

"You're wrong... I'm a reminder. ALL! MEN! DIE!" Now my favorite line in the history of pretty much everything. Books, shows, movies, games, even real life, doesn't matter. This line, in my opinion, does to every other pre-kill or pre-death utterance what Frank did to Rawlins. The only thing about it, is that I don't think ANYONE could ever recreate why it is that way. The line only works so well because of the entire rest of the show and backstory, as well as the visuals and the audio and the raw emotion and reality in the delivery and acting on not just Bernthal's part but Paul Schulze, the man who played Rawlins, as well. It was all perfect and yet depended upon each other, and it made the line perfect. I'm not sure they can top this season at all, in any way. It topped Daredevil so much that it built a ladder and a whole new 500 story floors that went above it, leaving it looking on in awe. And to think, they weren't initially going to even give Frank his own show. It was purely because they saw how astoundingly popular a character he was. There was a good possibility that we would have never gotten this at all.
God damn this was satisfying to watch. Finally a villain in a superhero show that gets brutally tortured before he dies. Too many quick deaths of bad guys in these shows/movies. Some villains deserve to be stabbed in the chest and throat repeatedly before being pummeled by two fists before having their eyes gouged out and their brain squashed.
Fucking hell, it was so satisfying. I hate it when those villains that you REALLY hate are given fast, merciful deaths... usually because we just can't tarnish the good guy by having him be a sadistic fuck. So glad they didn't go that route with this. He's the fucking Punisher, not some goody little version of Spiderman who also kills. It's even worse when you have them give it to some other character to do, too. Like they'll have the "good guy" come in on the murderer or whatever and beat the hell out of him, but then he won't be able to kill him because he's the "good guy", so they'll have his would-be victim kill him instead, and it's supposed to somehow defend the good guy's honor... yet the character that killed the villain is somehow supposed to not be just as bad, even though the hero would have been? It's fucking retarded. But nah... not the Punisher. They could have absolutely written it so that Billy kills Rawlins instead, and then the police show up and kill Billy. I could see some writers doing that. Thank god these writers know what Frank Castle's all about.
Their shitty melodramatic cinematic universe should be more like the Netflix shows. They are so much better. The Punisher is by far the best Marvel Netflix series and absolutely destroys 95% of the MCU
jesus christ even after rewatching it on youtube i still cant handle how brutal and intense this is he is the perfect actor for this role hes just so brutal and dark
In the span of a little under 2 minutes, Frank Castle successfully inflicted more pain, and more damage on Rawlins than Rawlins did to Frank Castle in the span of 20 minutes (or however long Frank was held captive by him).
Watching Russo realize that he and Frank have a common enemy in that moment and letting Frank just obliterate him is the most satisfying ending to an episode.
This was such a badass scene!! I remember as soon as I saw his hands break free from the ties and as he stood up, I was so freakin happy. I love the Punisher!
Damn this scene! the acting! The music!! gotta love Tyler Bates! also the way Billy just watches off of pure joyment gives me chills. Best scene in the series!
Just watching this guy's death cramps from being beaten to death is very satisfying considering what he did. What makes John the best Punisher for me is how he acts when he is in his "rage" moments. It's so awesome!
Rawlins maybe scary but frank is scarier way scarier they really put a lot into that scene especially the fear in Paul's face in real life guys like agent orange won't survive prison hell in fact since him being a torturer sure torture works but when in the receiving end like that then yeah you prayed for a quick death too.
in the comics... Nick Fury, has commented that Frank's pain threshold and endurance is almost superhuman or is superhuman. when people will usually pass out from the pain he's still fighting and in a right frame of mind.
That killing was awesome. I loved how the stabbed him repeatedly it was so realistic and brutal then his usual grunts and the "DIE" in between. I rewatched it several times. Great work. I had tears in my eyes.
Anybody else catch the “28 days later” soundtrack vibe to this scene? If you guys remember at the end of 28 days later, he does the double eye gouge as well, just like in this. Got that same badass and brutal vibe when I watched this last night🙏 Check out the ending here and skip to about 3:44! ruclips.net/video/JbcuK8WBKE8/видео.html
yea i thought i was the only one, even the gouging out eyes made me think of 28 weeks later. it has a very similar scene so maybe they were going for that?
'You scary beautiful man' Couldn't have said it better myself Jon Bernthal is truly the best and most fitting actor to play The Punisher. This scene gave us more than just brutality if you look at the bigger picture Frank is just like any sane human being he chose justice over being with his dead wife, he chose to avenge who he truly loved and they portrayed that with perfection. He then realised his wife was gone once he killed Agent Orange because he chose justice over death. Such a beautiful and brutal scene it sent goosebumps down my arms.
I don't understand one negative review of this show. "Boring" and all that. This shit was fucking great. Way better than Luke cage, iron fist, and defenders .
My jaw dropped so much from this scene it looked like I was trying to bite an apple and I had chills more severe than the last time I had the flu. Easily the most compelling scene in movie/tv history
This scene with the 28 weeks later- like soundtrack playing in the background made it look like Frank's got infected by the rage virus. Fantastic scene

That adrenaline shot which Rawlins gave him in order to not to pass out turned out to be a fatal mistake😂😂
I just watched Creature from the black lagoon the TV a few moments ago; I tell you when Castle rises out of that chair growling & gasping for breath, Berthal reminds me so much of the Creature--especially when he applies the 'Facepalm of death'
Pretentious people talk about how the series glorifies violence and guns not because they watched or understanded the show but because they are scarred overly political pawns. The show was a drama spiting on gun violence and corruption from start to finish while depicting Punisher as a human we all can love since he tried to change and find his momentary happiness in some family and a friend like Micro but then the same power whores who destroyed his previous chance of living a normal life (his own family) had to break him to the point of hunting them down and destroying them. It's like an irony since corrupted people in the show destroyed the life of a man who wanted peace and then in our reality people who just want to appease to the overly political tones of our time shit on the show. And the show ends with glorious friends Frank and Curtis with the statement ''I am scarred'' not a smile or a fulfillment or joy which as a meaning is against gun violence. Punisher doesn't want all of this nor he enjoyed it.
One could argue that this show was all about Frank fighting the war that needed to be fought and not the war Rawlins wanted him to fight, which adds to what you said, that he didn’t want to do this nor did he enjoy it. But Rawlins needed to be “punished” for his sins

he gouged his eyes out and couldn’t scream for pain because he’s too busy choking on his blood... that’s the punisher for ya!
The Punisher “Don’t like the sight of your own blood Rawllins? Let me help you with that....” 😵
Yep

Wow. I have a horrible mind but this is fantastic. His sinuses all filled with blood behind the eyes. Everything about this is painful.
God bless the Punisher. Such a great character.
He didn't actually gouge them.out, he pushed them.into his skull, crushing them. Either way... sucks to be him 🤣
This right here. THIS is the Punisher. THIS is why people love him in real life and villains in comics and t.v fear the shit out of him. He is rage and hatred incarnate.
He is so loved, that US military units used the skull to inspire fear into their enemies in the middle east
"I am home" - this episode was emotional as fuck.
I got chills at that scene especially how he deliveries it.
Fuck yeah, this is the Punisher...this is Frank Castle...
I was crying throughout it, and had one of the most severe goosebumps of my life, when he said, "I am home"
he really does live in a world of darkness
i really can't remember right now a line that gave me so much goosebumps as this one
This is so satisfying to watch. The bastard deserved it after inflicting all that pain on Frank. It's so brutal, but it's so good.
Way more in my opinion but yeah brutal indeed.
And treating everyone like sacrificial pawns.
I was actually worried he was going to die when Frank pulled the knife out of his throat, tbh.

The Punisher is by far Netflix's most brutal show, and is my favourite out of all the other Defenders' series.
Axelphim The Punisher is the most brutal Netflix,MARVEL,comic show and it’s the MCU which owned by Disney
i never thought id say this but its my favorite to now! it beats JJ and DD even. it was SO good
Eddie Gordo Jessica Jones is actually good,Killgrave is a great supervillain, but it’s not the best show, but it is entertainin

it deals with some really dark themes and other stuff (mental rape ect...) it also takes a couple of episodes to get really going BUT there is a good reason almost very marvel fan says the villain of JJ is THE BEST out of all marvel movies and series. along with loki and wilson fisk from daredevil. so that does say something about how good it was right?
the one negative thing i can say about it is the sme most people say about it: around episode 8-9 it feels like its at the series finale but it isnt (13 eps) and drags its feet abit untill the finale wich was great.

By far I agree with you. It came together FLAWLESSLY
Anybody know the name of the song
Tyler Bates - Frank's choice
They ripped it off from 28 Weeks Later. It's just a different octave.
0:15 that shot of when he stands up off that chair, Frank looks like a demon. Damn, only Bernthal could've pulled this off.
Bernthal was practically born for this role. "The Punisher: Born," that is.
Yeah, but I wish they had added a "whooosh" sound effect as he stood up to make it even more dramatic.
It's like his prison fight. He looks like he came straight from hell for a visit in that.
Alexander Angelus Hell yeah he was roaring and shit.
its almost unreal how brutal he is. I absolutely love his performance and that deep fucking voice is just pure terror. Also hes rad af

Captain Obvious well you literally took the obvious out of my mouth.
Thats not the first time he screwed up.
Holy fuck that is fucking brutal.
Levi Smith lmao
And yet not nearly as bad as what he did in the comics (granted, Rawlins BEYOND deserved it there. EVERYBODY hated him).
Which comic story?

The Rawlins in the comics was a different kind of scumbag and died a quicker death but he deserved this kind of death too, for all the shit he pulled.
Rohan Kishibe and 『Heaven's Door』 what did he do in the comic?
I just saw his design from the comics and I really liked how they replaced the eye-patch with the white eye and the scar
i know this is from a while back but if you care to reply what run was Rawlins in?

God damn this was satisfying to watch. Finally a villain in a superhero show that gets brutally tortured before he dies. Too many quick deaths of bad guys in these shows/movies. Some villains deserve to be stabbed in the chest and throat repeatedly before being pummeled by two fists before having their eyes gouged out and their brain squashed.
Music really reminded me of the 28 days later theme and this is definitely one of my favorite scenes ever in marvel.
"Marvel is for kids"
Ebaula Bola Marvel Movies is for kids
Of course it is for kids. What were you thinking?
The movies are for 8 year olds. The shows are far better
Their shitty melodramatic cinematic universe should be more like the Netflix shows. They are so much better. The Punisher is by far the best Marvel Netflix series and absolutely destroys 95% of the MCU
lol y'all always hate on the mcu
Worthy of MAX.
jesus christ even after rewatching it on youtube i still cant handle how brutal and intense this is he is the perfect actor for this role hes just so brutal and dark
In the span of a little under 2 minutes, Frank Castle successfully inflicted more pain, and more damage on Rawlins than Rawlins did to Frank Castle in the span of 20 minutes (or however long Frank was held captive by him).
Baron Hyde an hour i think was frank getting tortured
Now that's what I call the punisher
That headbutt in rawlins' face always gives me chills
Shouldn't have pumped him full of adrenaline..
Sadistic prick didn't know what was coming, I fully enjoyed this scene.
0:15 is when Karen activated Instant Kill Mode
Punisher took Rawlings for a chicken bucket at POPEYES
Damn this scene! the acting! The music!! gotta love Tyler Bates! also the way Billy just watches off of pure joyment gives me chills. Best scene in the series!
Just watching this guy's death cramps from being beaten to death is very satisfying considering what he did. What makes John the best Punisher for me is how he acts when he is in his "rage" moments. It's so awesome!
Rawlins maybe scary but frank is scarier way scarier they really put a lot into that scene especially the fear in Paul's face in real life guys like agent orange won't survive prison hell in fact since him being a torturer sure torture works but when in the receiving end like that then yeah you prayed for a quick death too.
avi gutierrez rawlins scary ? LMFAO hes about as scary as a stuffed Teddy bear, now Frank fucking A
This never gets old.
I love this scene! You can just feel Frank's rage!!!!
0:25 takes that fuckin knife like it was nothing. So badass
Just to let you know - he did that after all that beating. Y'know, that one that resulted in punctured lung and what not
floncer Well he mainly had the adrenaline boost rawlins shot into him
floncer he did get a shot of adrenaline
in the comics... Nick Fury, has commented that Frank's pain threshold and endurance is almost superhuman or is superhuman. when people will usually pass out from the pain he's still fighting and in a right frame of mind.
From the studio that brought you The Avengers!
The movie where a Norse God stabs an agent with the spear and then laughs at the blood stains on the spear's blade.
When he started punching him you can hear sound effect added to every blow, nice.

DC fans you mean
Song is: Tyler Bates - Frank's Choice
"I'm a reminder."
God damn, Frankie. I love to watch you work.
This scene was so underrated frank goes all out just to make sure he gets orange was cool to see billy let him do it too
Can’t wait to see what sick scenes they got for season 2!
This music is perfect for this scene. It sounds like 28 days later music "In the house, in a heartbeat by John Murphy.
That killing was awesome. I loved how the stabbed him repeatedly it was so realistic and brutal then his usual grunts and the "DIE" in between. I rewatched it several times. Great work. I had tears in my eyes.
God damnit Frankie
I love to watch you work
Anybody else catch the “28 days later” soundtrack vibe to this scene? If you guys remember at the end of 28 days later, he does the double eye gouge as well, just like in this. Got that same badass and brutal vibe when I watched this last night🙏 Check out the ending here and skip to about 3:44! ruclips.net/video/JbcuK8WBKE8/видео.html
I thought that sounded familiar.
I thought the same damn thing. 28 days was damn good too
Well shit I felt like I had heard that tune somewhere. Nice catch!
yea i thought i was the only one, even the gouging out eyes made me think of 28 weeks later. it has a very similar scene so maybe they were going for that?
Sony of the movie "in the house in a heartbeat"
'You scary beautiful man' Couldn't have said it better myself Jon Bernthal is truly the best and most fitting actor to play The Punisher. This scene gave us more than just brutality if you look at the bigger picture Frank is just like any sane human being he chose justice over being with his dead wife, he chose to avenge who he truly loved and they portrayed that with perfection. He then realised his wife was gone once he killed Agent Orange because he chose justice over death. Such a beautiful and brutal scene it sent goosebumps down my arms.
Like the song in the background. Sounds a little like "In the House, In a Heartbeat By John Murphy."
This, along with the Billy Russo fight, has got to be one of the most satisfying brutal beat downs I've ever fucking seen!! Aaarrrgggghhhh!!!
I don't understand one negative review of this show. "Boring" and all that. This shit was fucking great. Way better than Luke cage, iron fist, and defenders .
TheYoungMuTe Ikr I mean boring really 🙄
The kids who complained it was boring wanted a 13 hour gunfight. They couldn't stand that it had plot in between.
Also better than Daredevil
better than iron fist and even better than the defenders but not better than luke cage
FATALITY
My jaw dropped so much from this scene it looked like I was trying to bite an apple and I had chills more severe than the last time I had the flu. Easily the most compelling scene in movie/tv history
Loved this series. Jon is the punisher. Absolutely awesome!
The look him and billy exchange is like “we’ll kill each other but Rawlins needs to go first”
This scene with the 28 weeks later- like soundtrack playing in the background made it look like Frank's got infected by the rage virus. Fantastic scene
That adrenaline shot which Rawlins gave him in order to not to pass out turned out to be a fatal mistake😂😂
This is beautiful.
He sure juiced him like an orange.
I may sound like some fucked up guy, but that was the most satisfying moment I had seen since, back at TLoU; Ellie slaughtered David.
Damn, Frankie, i love seeing you work
Meanwhile, Luis is at a Baskin Robins stealing two smoothie machines
I just watched Creature from the black lagoon the TV a few moments ago; I tell you when Castle rises out of that chair growling & gasping for breath, Berthal reminds me so much of the Creature--especially when he applies the 'Facepalm of death'
Best most satisfying moment ever, and the music was perfect too. Everything about this was brilliant and brutal to the fullest.....GET EM FRANKIE!
OneShallStandOneShallFall
Well said
One could argue that this show was all about Frank fighting the war that needed to be fought and not the war Rawlins wanted him to fight, which adds to what you said, that he didn’t want to do this nor did he enjoy it. But Rawlins needed to be “punished” for his sins
Makes me very very happy. Thank you Punisher. You are the MAN !!
