I went on this ship for my birthday back in March of 2016 and I had a FABULOUS time! It was my first cruise and it honestly set the standard for me when it comes to crushing again ☺️
Susan that was an amazing tour. I have been on the Freedom of Seas, but are looking at the Independence of the Seas. Thanks of showing us the video. I am looking in 2017 2018 time frame.
Fantastic video and a great tour of the ship! One request for future videos. Could you show the interior of different grades of cabin accommodation too? :)
I'm taking my first Royal cruise in October, I am beyond excited. At the moment NCL are my favourite cruise line but I wonder if Royal will knock them off the top spot...
Is this the same as the one that sails from the uk? I was watching another vlog and that seem quite ugly and outdated compared to this but it was dated 2014, so I was wondering if there has been some update on the ship.
I love the cruise I’ve been you MUST go it’s just breathtaking and I usually kept going to the pyramid lounge 😂 Now First off the promenade was nice to go through and so much fun staff, sadly I was not able to ice skate but after 4 - 7 days I got bored but trust me it’s amazing I had fun while it lasted.Last thing the drinks are good and the rooms are good and I loved it plus there are glass elevators if you did not notice and yeah thanks for reading my review 😁✌️
I've probably watched this video about 3 or 4 times now. The wife and I are spending our honeymoon in March 2018 on this ship!! I think I am more excited than she is lol..
It still absolutely blows my fucking mind that something so behemothly gigantic is able to stay buoyant enough to stay afloat. It is just amazing the ingenuity and engineering brilliance of the people who design and build such amazing ships. I really believe that cruise ships and aircraft carriers are some of mankinds greatest inventions and should be considered a marvel. These cruise ships are as big as some cities and have all the amenities and luxuries you can possibly imagine, yet half the time you don't even realize or notice that you are floating out in the middle of the ocean. It is truly an amazing thing that something so massive and weighs so much doesn't sink right to the bottom as soon as it hits the water.
Is this the ship that will host 70000 tons of metal next February? If so, are we allowed to visit all areas, or just the corresponding ones regarding the category chosen?
+Oceanwide Travel, LLC me and my mum are going to make an appointment to the spa when we get on the boat and do you have a video of the spa on the boat.
At the end of this video we quickly go through the "Vitality at Spa" area. Many times Royal Caribbean will hold a raffle for spa treatments on the first day of the cruise. Have an AMAZING cruise vacation!
Bon Voyage.... Have a wonderful time, remember to take lots of photos, there's so much to remember! I'm excited to hear what you enjoyed the most onboard! :)
Really wanted to watch this but after 5 min I just could not take the camera movement any longer - felt like I was on a ship in a huge wave! lol Nice video, I just got too dizzy.
It looks like this is how the ship was before renovations. H2O zone is not like that anymore. It's called Splash Away Bay and has completely different stuff. Maybe it's just different on the Liberty of the Seas?
Liberty of the Seas underwent a revitalization in 2016 and received Splash Away Bay along with several other enhancements. Guests on the Independence of the Seas will still continue to enjoy the H20 Zone.
Just when I thought the previous ship was nice, this one is more elaborate than at least the ones that I've previewed recently so far, this one seems more "expensive"
Starwars Geek Nope, the ship is registered in America, so everything onboard is charged in USD. EUR and GBP may be displayed for reference only but I don't think this was the case.
Just got off that ship. Saw the whole thing in one day. This video helped a lot. I was able to recognize everything and had an idea about where everything was.
Hey I was on this ship in February 2014 and I have been on oasis of the seas quantum of the seas and serade of the seas my family is diamond plus and I'm going on navigator of the seas February 16 I'm really excited
Check out the "peek-a-boo bridge" while on Navigator of the Seas. It's located all the way forward on deck 11 and features a set of windows that allow you to peer into the bridge. It's fun to watch the captain in action!
Within exactly 8 weeks we are on board for a Transatlantic & Caribbean Cruise + extended stay at Hotel Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina ... exciting!! :-)
WOW! Sounds like you'll be on the 15 night Transatlantic sailing. You'll be visiting several of my favorite ports in the Caribbean...... enjoy your adventure at sea!
The independence of the seas is really awesome I just got back yesterday and there is lots of activities to do

LOL! It happens all the time.... the "Independence of the Seas" is an exciting ship and hard to resist! :)

I am going on this boat in October again it is a lovely boat and I'm going to be using the spa this time. Loved this video
Make your spa appointment(s) soon after boarding the ship (or in advance online), the best times slots fill up quickly!
Have an AMAZING cruise vacation!

the ship changed very major since this video
Can the arcade accept pound coins or do they only accept dollars
The arcade is charged to your room with the room card. It is charged in USD.
Y0UG0TPWND I assume it's different for people in the UK...
Starwars Geek Nope, the ship is registered in America, so everything onboard is charged in USD. EUR and GBP may be displayed for reference only but I don't think this was the case.
It looks very overwhelming! How can you possibly see everything?
Joel Z I did... but I did have to go on it twice!
Just got off that ship. Saw the whole thing in one day. This video helped a lot. I was able to recognize everything and had an idea about where everything was.
I'll Be leaving on December 11th 2017 . My sister is having her wedding on board
This looks so diffrent from when i went on April 6th

+Oceanwide Travel, LLC ??????!!!!!!!!! I never knew
It's REALLY easy to overlook the "peek-a-boo bridge". Many never go far enough forward on deck 11 to find it.
Very similar to MS Color Magic / MS Color Fantasy
I am going on that ship
I going there
im going soon on february 6 to hates and Jamaica
Labadee, Haiti is a beautiful port to visit... It's like a fun day at the beach with LOTS of water activities!
Wait! You didn't show the Viking Crown Lounge! That's the staple lounge on RCI Ships!
Olive and Twist is located in the Viking Crown Lounge (check out minute 13:00 of the tour). It's the perfect place to watch the sunset! :)
Lol I’m on this ship right now!
but what about safety security practicality function reason and simplicity ....nice vid anyway !!!
That's right, we also like to go back to some of our most favorite Caribbean ports, hence this cruise ... thanks & greetings from Belgium! :-)
Wim Binard I'm going on this ship July 31st 2017 for 2 weeks!
Is it a requirement to be vaccinated to go on the cruise 🛳 🤔???
Yes really l want to travel in this ship may be in next birth(janam in Hindi)
Just for the record: a single B2 stealth bomber costs over twice as much as this whole ship, complete with everything. Maybe not stocked on champagne.
the emirates a380 looks like a hotel but the indpendence of the seas look just like A CITY!
I’m going June 12th
