- Todays video goes in depth with the 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel! This truck has a ton of technology features like proximity sensors, back up camera, a larger center screen and all the driving assistance features! The rear storage space is so versatile and very roomy for 3 full size people! The interior is full leather with nice wood inlays and the dash set up is very easy and laid out well. It is also a smooth riding truck with the optional air ride suspension, very adaptable for towing or giving the drive a comfortable drive!

I have this same truck ... love it, no complaints ... tows my camper and is great on the hwy
love the shifter on the steering wheel. Very classic
I agree, I hate the knob shifter in newer Dodge vehicles.
I love Dodge Ram truck
Very good looking one
truck doesn't have led headlights, they are halogen projectors. only has led turn signals up front
do a 2018 ford f-150 platinum review
19/27 lol. I have one. No way
Dude...where are you getting your MPG numbers. More like maybe 19 on highway.
I have the first year that the megacab came out. In my area there is only 4.
Sold!
19/27 MPG is literally what Ram says the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel can get. There are NO fuel economy ratings for HD pickups because they aren't mandated by the EPA.
That’s a way smaller engine. If you had half a brain you’d know these 6.7 HD trucks get around 15mpg. Which is basically half of what you state. If you did even did a small amount of research you’d know that what you’re saying about 19/27 is ludicrous.
No way you are getting those MPG numbers. Those are the numbers for the ecodiesel in the 1500. Also RAM doesn’t have a true locking rear diff (Power Wagon excluded) they have what they call an Anti-Slip differential. Other than those mishaps very good review.
I love 4th Gen Cummins!
This is a cool Ram! But that’s a good option too!
19 mpg in the city? Is that right?
I got a 2018 wish I could get 19/27 mpg
I love this truck ram has the most beautiful interior than the ford and chevy... That my opinion.
You can love it to death and the rich oil barons are very happy that there are so many of these monsters on the road.
Phillip Sinclaire what?
I have this truck, I love this truck ... but I’m pretty disappointed in the quality of the little things; like the fact the clearance lights on the roof leak water into the cab after only 2 years :/
No locking Diff.... Only a Anti spin diff
bro at 3:43 it says the truck is getting 13.4mpg.
Where's the rest if the 70grand?
A magacab has optional 8 foot bed?
Nope
@@makatron Crew cab does ?
@@bobl.2213 crew cab does come with either short or long box. It's the megacab design that runs out of frame for a structural safe 8 foot box.
2:26😍
19 city 27 highway , haha I wish
I respect your profile picture man!
TRUMP 2020!
Yup that’s the car I’m getting
gl with that kiddo
CD player in the center console lol
Why is the check engine light on lol???
Thats just when the electronics are on with the engine off. Every car will do that
truck doesnt need to be locked when you double click the remote start button it locks by its self
Some cars do and some don't, so I just did that anyway!
To remote start, the lock button has to be press before double clicking the remote start button. At which point locks the truck. Clicking just the remote start button w/o first pressing the lock button will not remote start the truck.
@@sowahsackey2373 No sir, all dodge vehicles all you do is click the remote start symbol twice and it’ll lock it itself before starting it.
Laramie
Lol 27..... not even close. Maybe the eco diesel
Not even the eco diesel. It has mileage of roughly 12 miles to the gallon overall. The only truck diesel that gets good mileage in the diesel monster category is the GMC 3500 which actually gets 17 miles to the gallon overall. It beats Ford and The Ram truck hands down.
@@phillipsinclairethe eco diesel is easy on fuel and the Cummins is significantly better on fuel it’s called driving it moderately
Around how much do they go for?
Enigma McC no lol
not led headlights
one day ill have my dream truck my journey starts now i just stated college on the 8th and ill be 22 on the 20th i have a 666 credit score so i think im on track to getting this in 2-5 years im going to college for mechanics its a 2 year college mechanical systems technology
Let's see I looked at a Laramie two days ago and it had everything that truck has except the seats weren't copper in color for 49, but this truck is 75😆
Rowdy Broomstick was it 2500 with a Cummins these things got a ton of options, but yeah trust...I know it. (1500 Laramie air suspension,3.92 gears fully loaded every option)
There is no way you found a Laramie that had everything this truck had with the Cummins for under 50k sticker ... there is no way
THAT IS NOT A 12 volt outletttttttttttt
Lone star interior is blah considering how much it cost.
You couldn't tell me shit if I was in this thing
Whats the price for it?
Justin Reily just bravo bravo
About 75 k
I wish 27
19 27 mpg lair get the your facts straight buddy.
payload way off too
RammC RammC, I actually had to replay that part cause I thought I lost my mind. Maybe 22 on highway, but 27? I’ll trade my 04 in right now for that
Milton Zinn 14 mpg the most when I am on the highway maybe 19 mpg but not even close.
Milton Zinn but beautiful truck tho.
I said the same!!!
That's v8 or v12
Neither lol. It's an inline 6 cylinder

A couple of things...
First, there is no 8’ bed option with a mega cab.
Second, 19 and 27??? Haahahahahahahaha, I know you’re just saying what the manufacturer alleges, but come on. No 10k lb truck is going to get 27 mpg unless you’re going downhill.
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie sport crew cab with the Cummins. Almost at 5k miles on it so far. In mixed driving, if you’re easy on the go pedal, you can expect an average of between 19 and 20.5 mpg. If you do a lot of highway, 21-22.5 is about the best you’re going to get on average. Of course, that will significantly decrease if you add a trailer of any substantial weight behind it. That said, with about 15k lbs of green firewood on my flatbed, I came up with an average of around 15. Granted, that was only a 20 mile trip, so not a great gauge of overall towing mileage over time or lots of miles.
Any way you slice it though, I’ll take it over any gasser, any day of the week. 🍻
Have you deleted anything?
Isaac Alonzo nope. Bone stock. I’m not going to do anything like that to it. It has plenty of power, it’s quiet, comfortable, and does everything I need.
There is no way this truck gets the mileage it does. I was at a mobil station last year when a guy pulled up in one but a different color. He told me around 13 miles to the gallon city and just under 19 miles to the gallon highway. If your working this baby and hauling big loads overal mileage is closer to abou 16 miles to the gallon. Its expensive to run and the insurance is out of this world. Its funny now I know why there are so many of these trucks hanging around the diesel pumps in town. Really funny actually. Hahhahahahahaha.
Why are they so expensive to ensure
It’s not rated for mpg, so it’s dumb to even give numbers. Deleted it might get mid to upper 20’s. No way it gets what he mentioned. Even that douche below talking about not driving like a dick. Coasting downhill isn’t an accurate number. Great truck though. Stay in school kids.
27 mpg highway made me turn it off because that is the biggest lie I’ve heard in a while.
Hu? Just stating what Ram said..but also will depend on your driving..not a lie..
Not even close. This is an HD truck with a 6.7. Ram never said that because that would be a lie. These trucks are more like 15mpg man. Do some research.
@@jaredjared8347 ok, if that’s what you get in yours. I looked up a lot on it…
What a piece of junk
