Pesäpallo is really interesting to watch. It has a lot happening, a lot strategy and usually more scoring. Once you get the hang of the rules it is really interesting.
There is a funny video where the field is next to a creek and while one player is trying to catch the ball he dives head first into the creek.
That particular stadium is on a river island only slightly larger than the pitch, so the broadcast team always sets up cameras to watch the water just for that purpose too.

The role of the jokers may vary depending on their team line-up. If a team has loads of firepower in their starting 9, they may opt to have one hard hitter and the other slots for designated runner or someone specialized on advancing runners from base to base.
Pesäpallo is so fun to play! I played in our school team when i was a kid. Was pretty good too. I recommend you try it! :)
Loved tp play this during my teenage years. The pro-players are crazy good..
I am not sure this the correct term but stealing a base wasn't mentioned. If you are on the 1st or 2nd base you can edge out of your current base and try to go for the next one before the pitch or get a head start during the pitch.

It’s quite unique. I think this can catch on in America and we could for a professional league of our own using a business model that’s similar to minor league baseball.
Played this game for 10 years... I was a referee for 5 years. I know almost all about it. Never again! :D

Actually not that high scoring game. All outs are force outs. Distances: Home to first: 95 feet.; first to second: 120 ft.; second to third: 126 ft.; third to home almost 150 ft! Notice how they dive at every base?
