- In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet this flower kitchen pad.
Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This crochet flower kitchen pad is easy to make and works up very quickly. It's colorful and has a pretty layered look to it. You can use it as a functional hot pad, pot holder, dishcloth and more. Or you can use it as home décor.
I'm using 100% cotton worsted weight yarn and a size G 4 mm crochet hook for my sample.

These flowers would look so pretty designed into a summer top. I’m picturing a jewel tone , off the shoulder top with a few crocheted into the design. I think they’re too pretty for pot holders. Maybe a blanket with a few strewn across would be pretty. Not too many, I imagine it would be too thick.

Beautiful. Will the colors run? I always worry about mixing colors of cotton yarn.
I've never had colors run when using a "well-known" cotton yarn brand. These days they are pretty good with treating the cotton so it bonds with the dyes in a more permanent manner.
