    We are a truly unique archery club combining top quality and convenience:
    - open 7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day - 80 hours a week in total
    - location in zone 2 (Greenwich) - 15 min from London Bridge
    - stylish and funky premises specially designed from scratch for indoor archery fun :)
    - two 18 meter ranges allowing up to 20 archers shoot simultaneously
    - proper heating / airconditioning / ventilation
    - all bow types for training: compound, Olympic recurve, traditional
    - storage for customers' bows
    - highly qualified instructors with 10+ years of experience
    It is not that easy to find any of the above mentioned features in London (except for location maybe), and we are the only archery club boasting a combination of those ;)

      Agreed, that is unless it's 100 degrees F with 98 percent humidity. Basically, any day that is the hell of a Florida summer.

      Been doing archery for approx 22 years, indoor archery and field archery is so boring , I go to a local woodland archery club where we shoot at animal targets in wooded areas, much more realistic and fun....

      We don't shoot without finger tabs/gloves. However, you don't necessarily use them for exercise drawing (when you don't release the string).

    Bizarre how some of the traditional archers in the comments want to have a go at people shooting recurve or compound but no one throws shade in the other direction. Archery is a broad sport and as long as you're enjoying shooting your own style of bow then why not just be supportive of other archers shooting their preferred style. Being unsupportive of other archers is not what the sport is about.

      Learn to shoot what you like first, because you'll enjoy it more that way. Motivation is key. Teaching them the right way is key to keeping them into the sport.

    Shooting with one eye?

    • @ArcheryFit
      @ArcheryFit  6 лет назад +10

      It's really challenging with two closed!

    • @brettalizer3271
      @brettalizer3271 6 лет назад

      shooting with one eye is easier but it is better to learn to shoot instinctively with both

    • @helphelpimbeingrepressed9347
      @helphelpimbeingrepressed9347 6 лет назад +2

      Better with both full stop. Better depth perception but some people (cross dominant shooters especially) do struggle, I have to shut the other eye every now & again as it sometimes tries to take over my aiming eye.

    • @NorthForkFisherman
      @NorthForkFisherman 6 лет назад

      YD - The question is, which eye is dominant?

    • @stewforwords
      @stewforwords 4 года назад

      @@NorthForkFisherman Make the shape of a Triangle with your hands, and hold it up to your face so that you can see through with both eyes. From that position, while continuing to look a chosen object, slowly extend your arms forward. At the end of the extension, hold and check each eye to see which one possesses the centered image.

      Any traditional bow with no arrow shelf might be your thing, it’s worth getting a glove though (or it might chew your hand up, it certainly did to mine). I shoot a lot of Korean traditional bows, but there’s always longbows and everything in between too.

      you obviously haven't shot even 100 arrows in a row in an evening. Archery is very athletic.

    • @helphelpimbeingrepressed9347
      @helphelpimbeingrepressed9347 6 лет назад +2

      To add to Chris' point, most top archers also workout 3 times a week as well as shooting a couple of hundred arrows per day. Rumour has it that some archers give themselves one day off per week......SLACKERS! :P

      - LOL, I'd bet good money that you wouldn't be able to so much as DRAW an Olympic Recurve bow ... let alone hit a barn door. The physical demands of the sport are INTENSE and decent club / competitive archers have got to be extraordinarily fit.

      not much call anymore for a 150 lb draw bow. and thankfully so. Hardly anyone could pull that or even shoot that for any length of time now. Times have changed, and its a sport today, not a war weapon.
